What's the story about
Once upon a time, there lived a shepherd boy (牧羊童).
"Help! Wolf!", cried the boy.
One day, the boy was so bored that he decided to play a trick.
As soon as the boy cried out, the villagers who heard this ran to help.
There was no wolf.
How to use these conjunctions properly
Lead in
1. They were so high and big that it took a long time to walk to the other side.
2. A god was so moved by Yu Gong that he sent another two gods to help take the mountains away.
3. Sometimes he can make the stick so small that he can keep it in his ear.
4. This story reminds us that you can never know what’s possible unless you try to make it happen.

My favorite story is Cinderella.
The main characters in the story are Cinderella, her stepmother, two stepsisters, the mice and a prince.
The story is about a beautiful girl, who was able to go to the ball (舞会) only with the help of the mice. There, she fell in love with a prince. Then she and the prince got married and lived happily ever after.
This is my favorite story because it is interesting and it teaches us to be kind and not to be wicked (坏的; 恶毒的) like the stepmother and the two stepsisters.
I like Cinderella very much for she is a kind and beautiful girl who had never done anything bad to anyone.
