The Emperor’s New Clothes
Once upon a time , there was an emperor who lived in a beautiful palace . He loved buying and looking at clothes. One day , two brothers came to the city , they told the emperor that they could make special clothes . Unless you were clever , you couldn’t see the clothes . The next morning , the emperor gave them a lot of silk and gold . But they were bad people. A few days later , they didn’t do anything and kept all silk and gold . When the emperor put on the clothes , all he could see was his underwear. However , he didn’t want people to think he was stupid , so he said the clothes were beautiful . At last , he walked around the city in his new clothes until one boy shouted ,” The emperor isn’t wearing any clothes !”
