教学对象:海口市荣山中学初二学生
授课教材:仁爱版第八册下Section C, Topic 2, Unit 7
授课内容:Section C, Topic 2, Unit 7
学情分析:荣山中学属于农村学校,学生基础弱,部分学生甚至不认识几个单词,且学习的积极性不够,不能按照老师的要求完成课前预习和课后作业。老师需要充分利用早读和课堂的时间,让学生尽可能地在课堂上掌握知识。由于学生下学期将进入初三,现在的教学应与中考模式逐步接轨,通过对学生考试成绩进行分析,判断学生可以在短时间内提高的考试项目为哪些,并把这个作为今后教学的重点。一方面能有效提高平均分,另一方面能促进学生的学习积极性。因此,在这次常态课的设计中,应降低学习难度,把重点放在帮助学生理解文章(每一个句子)和套用宾语从句句型上。
教材分析:Section C 的主要授课内容为一篇阅读文章和宾语从句。针对荣山中学的实际情况,对教学内容进行了调整。本节课的内容为P67,1b和P68,3,4。
在第二天的教学中,将P67的课文改为填空练习,进一步巩固基本知识,同时与中考接轨,帮助学生得分。如:If you…; It is polite to follow them…; …at the table, take…; …you should speak quietly. 对于成绩较好的学生可指导其背诵,提供中文课文,看着中文背英语课文。
将P67,2中whether和if的拓展使用改为第三天教学内容。在第三天教学前,对本节课的宾语从句作业进行批改,如在作业中出现问题,则在第三天课堂上解决。
需要老师对教材进行进一步的整合选取,并对课文根据中考题型来编练习,备课难度增加,
Learning objectives:

Teaching Procedure:
Step 1 Pre - reading
Divide the whole class into groups.
Introduce the learning goals in this period.( Learn reading tips and learn to use whether and if)
New words. (P 67-68)
Tell the Ss the teacher will ask them to read one by one after the teacher shows them how to read these words.
Have the Ss read after the teacher.(Read the English words and their Chinese meanings)
(Purpose: 事先给出检测目标,让学生认真对待,提高效率。)
Ask the students to look at the picture on page 67 and write the words on the lines. Then check the answers and read the words after the teacher.
Step 2 While –reading
Ask the students to read the first paragraph and the last sentence and choose the best topic of the passage.
