What The passage introduces a great Chinese women's football team. In the passage, the writer reviews their victory in 2022. Then he recalls the history of the football team and reveals their spirits. In the end, it gives people's comments on the team. Why The purpose of the passage is to show sports spirit of the women's football team. It encourage readers never to give up when meeting challenges. Also, it's easy for students to imitate. How The passage is arranged in a simple and clear structure (victory-spirit-comment) to help readers learn about the football team. The writer uses a metaphor in the title to drive people's interests. The contrasting ideas of steel and roses also captures the essence of the team's character.
