We arrived there at 9:00 a.m. At first, we cleaned the windows and swept the floor, and then we visited some elders there. We chatted and played cards with them. Mrs. Li, an old lady, was an English teacher. We told her about our school life. She was very happy to be with us.
I felt good about helping others. Together, we can make the world a better place.

Volunteering at an Animal Shelter
On April 10th, I volunteered at an animal shelter with my friends. It was a heartwarming experience.
We arrived at 10:00 a.m. First, we cleaned the cages and filled the food bowls. After that, we played with the dogs and cats. One dog, named Max, was very friendly. We took him for a walk, and he wagged his tail happily.
