To call on people to love the Great Wall and protect our cultural relics(活动目的), an activity was organized by the Green Love Union of our school.
为了号召人们热爱长城,保护我们的文物(活动目的),我们学校的绿爱联盟组织了一项活动。
In order to enrich students’ extracurricular life/ add spice to our campus life , the Student Union of our school organized an activity with the theme of/themed “ Getting to know the Plants Around Us ” last Sunday.

参考范文 In order to encourage/inspire the students to take part in social activities(活动目的), our school organized a trip to Lanling Farm on July 10th .
