学情分析: 本课教学对象为八年级的学生。这一阶段的学生思维能力发展较快,自我意识增强,在情感方面能进行自我教育。好奇心强,喜欢探索新鲜的事物,喜欢动手参与,也喜欢竞赛。经过一年的新课程理念的熏陶及实践,有了初步的自主、合作、探究、实践的能力。因此我将此课设计任务型教学,把一个个的活动设计为一个个的任务,让学生去完成,并引入竞争机制,满足学生学习需要,同时利用预习指导既培养了学生的学习策略,也降低了学习难度,为新课的顺利开展打下伏笔。
效果分析:
不足之处:?在课堂教学中,尽管以学生的练为主,但并不是所有的学生都得到了充分的锻炼,回答问题时大部分学生能活跃起来,然而一堂课中,有学生多次发言,也有学生一次也未能举手主动发言,所以如何调动所有学生的积极性是课后要关注的问题。??
亮点:?
整堂课教学设计思路基本清晰流畅,在课堂活动安排中衔接比较自然,注重读写,学生配合很到位,在老师的引导下基本达到预期的教学目标,在听、说、读、写三方面得到了锻炼。虽然这是一节阅读课,但在课堂上,我尽量从各个方面培养学生的能力,在课堂学习上,也尽量采取不同的方式充分调动学生的积极性,体现了新课标所要求的合作学习的重要性。

一、教学目标:

2. 熟练掌握以下句型:
(1) He thinks that it will be difficult for a robot to do the same things as a person.
(2) They think that robots will even be able to talk to people in 25 to 50 years.
(3) Some will look like humans, and others might look like animals
(4) We never know what will happen in the future!
3. 能综合运用will表达一般将来时态。
技能目标:1. 能够运用所给信息,如标题、图片等预测文章大意。
2. 能够运用本课的核心句型,想象和预测未来社会发展。
情感态度:21世纪的青少年应该开拓思维,敢于设想和实践,善于运用科学知识发明创造。
二、教学重难点
1. 教学重点:
1) 能运用所学知识及提示来阅读相关个人未来生活预测,并能完成相关任务
2)能运用所学知识与句型表达方式来描绘自己未来的生活。
2. 教学难点
1)能运用所用所给信息,如标题、图片等预测文章大意。
2)能运用本课的核心句型,想象和预测未来社会发展。
三、教学过程
Ⅰ. Before-reading
1. Enjoy a short movie and answer some questions

II. While -reading
Fast reading
Ask the ss to look at the title and the picture in 2b and predict :what can they learn from the title and the picture?
Read the passage quickly and check their answer.
Read the passage quickly and get the main idea .
Read the article and match each paragraph with the question it discusses.
Careful reading
Read Para. 1, and answer some questions.
Read Para 2. complete the sentences.
Read Para 3. decide True or False.
