语篇分析 What: 本课时是大任务驱动下的第二节课，围绕课时任务“The world weather”展开。语篇通过John的爸爸要去世界各地出差，John的妈妈正在和他一起收拾行李和收听世界天气预报，学生通过听听力完成表格，学习核心单词的词性和词义，然后再通过陈洁和在纽约朋友Mike的电话，了解纽约现在下雨，北京的天气也不冷，学生通过理解语篇对话，感受核心句型的语用和语义，了解摄氏度和华氏度的区别。Why: 通过语篇阅读学习感知重点词组的语义和语用情景，通过听对话、解决问题，感知句型的实际运用情景，让学生能了解气温描述中的文化差异，关心日常天气变化，能对气候特点和天气情况进行描述并能及时提醒家人、朋友根据天气变化更换衣服。How: 本节课的是一节对话和单词融合课，学生通过完成听力练习，学习关于天气特征的单词的音形义：rainy, snowy, cloudy, sunny，然后再回顾对话学习，在语篇中再次感知单词的语用和语义，询问或描述某地天气情况：What’s the weather like in... It’s rainy/... Is it cold/... Yes, it is./No, it isn’t. 学生通过模仿天气预报员描述世界各地的天气情况，了解世界不同的气候，了解中西方对气温描述时的差异。
教学目标教学重点、难点 理解视频内容，完成表格填空，学习单词：rainy, snowy, cloudy, sunny, windy的音、形、义，并能询问介绍某地的天气情况，感知核心句型的语义和语用：What’s the weather like in... It’s rainy/... Is it cold/...
