(一般过去时)
The past tense of a verb(动词的过去式)
Adverbial of time (时间状语)
Definition(定义)
一般过去时表示过去某个时间或某一段时间内发生的动作或存在的状态，常和表示过去的时间状语连用；
也表示过去经常或反复性发生的动作，常和often，always等表示频率的时间状语连用。

Yesterday was a nice day for me. The weather was sunny and warm.
In the morning, I took exercise at 9:00. It was exciting. I followed the teacher in the video to jump up and down. This can help me not only keep healthy, but also lose weight. Then I did my homework. Although it was kind of boring, I tried my best to finish it because I don't want to let my teachers down. In order to make lunch for my families, I learnt how to make dishes on line. It was interesting.That made my parents feel surprised but happy. In the afternoon, I read books. I think that reading can help me open my eyes to the world. The books were so great that I nearly forgot everything around me.In the evening, I watched TV with my families after dinner. That was relaxing. I enjoyed the moment that I spent with them. At 10:30, I went to bed.
