unless连词，意为“如果不……”，相当于if……not……。当主句用一般将来时或祈使句时，unless引导的从句常用一般现在时。
eg：
You'll be late unless you hurry up. 如果你不快点儿，你将会迟到。

除非你给我回信，我就不去那里了。

so … that 的用法
so……that……意为“如此……以至于……”，引导结果状语从句，其句型为：主语+谓语+ so + adj./adv. + that从句。
eg：The boy ran so fast that I couldn't catch him.
这个男孩儿跑得如此快以至于我赶不上他。
He worked so hard that he passed the exam.
他非常努力，以至于他通过了考试。
He was so worried that he didn’t sleep well last night

Unless 引导条件状语从句， 相当于if …not…. 主句可以是肯定句 （主将从现） You will miss the bus unless you hurry up.
你要不快点就会错过班车。
主句也可以是否定句 （主将从现） You won’t make progress, unless you work hard.
如果你不努力，就不会取得进步的。
as soon as 引导时间状语 从句。表示从句的动作一发 生，主句的动作马上发生。 主句过去式，从句也 用过去式 I went to do my homework as soon as I came back home.

so…that…常引导结果状 语从句，so是副词，常常 用来修饰形容词或副词。 1. 主语+谓语+so + adj \ adv + that从句 She is so young that she can’t go to school.
