学情分析
本本单元是人教版英语(三年级起点)五年级下册第四单元,本单元学习的主题是“When is the art show”。本单元重点学习有关节日和生日的话题, 并将话题延伸到谈论节日和生日所在的日期。上个单元, 学生已经学习了12个月份的单词以及一些节日及节日所在的月份。本单元继续学习有关节日所在的具体日期和学习1~31的序数词和日期表达法。五年级学生已积累了一定的英语学习经验和语言知识储备,初步具备了运用所学语言知识进行简单交流的能力,能够根据学习进展对学习计划和策略进行调整,尝试找到适合自己的英语学习方法。此外,关于节日、生日、活动的话题也较贴近学生的生活实际,是学生乐于参与学习、讨论的话题。五年级的学生活泼好动、对新话题充满兴趣,喜欢表现自我,勇于挑战,他们对本单元的话题并不陌生,这些节日和活动在校园生活中和家庭生活中时常发生。在进行本单元的教学过程中,应该有意识地帮助学生体会并表达自己喜欢的节日和活动,培养学生热爱集体、孝敬长辈、关心家人、热情好客等行为品质,提高学生的跨文化交际能力和综合语用能力。
二、单元整体设计思路
本单元是在复习以前学过的一些月份和部分序数词的基础上,注重学习具体日期的英语表达方式,学习序数词与基数词的转换规律。围绕单元主题,深挖各课时话题。本单元要学习的核心词汇first(1st), second(2nd), third(3rd), fourth(4th), fifth(5th),twelfth(12th), twentieth(20th), twenty-first(21st), twenty- third(23rd), thirtieth(30th)等 。在单元主题意义的引领下,以“节日和生日” 为主题,教师创设贴近学生学习生活的真实情境,设计层层深入的教学活动,谈论节日和生日所在的日期。语篇核心词汇核心句型学习内容学习时长学习目标A talkspecial, show, festivalThere are someOther special days in May. 在情境中, 学会问答某个节日或活动的日期1课时理解对话,在语境中运用所学词汇和句型, A learnfirst(1st), second(2nd), third(3rd), fourth(4th), fifth(5th)When is the.. . 三、单元整体学习目标
知识与能力目标 (一)知识目标学生能够听、说、读、写本单元重点词汇,包括序数词first(1st)- thirtieth(30th)以及相关的活动词汇如art show (艺术展)、math test(数学考试)、singing contest(歌唱比赛)等。学生能够熟练运用重点句型“When is... It's on...”询问和回答活动的时间,以及“Whose... is it It's... 's.”询问和回答所属关系,并能在实际情境中正确运用。(二)能力目标1.能够听懂与日期、活动安排相关的对话、短文,准确获取关键信息,如活动名称、时间等。2.能够用正确的语音、语调朗读对话和短文,并进行角色扮演和模仿秀,提高口语表达的准确性和流畅性。3.能够根据所给话题或提示,运用所学知识写一篇关于活动安排或个人经历的短文,锻炼书面表达能力和逻辑思维能力,如写一-篇关于自己生日派对或学校活动的文章,包括活动时间、内容、参与人员等。
情感态度、文化意识、学习策略目标 (三)情感目标通过对各种活动日期和安排的学习,让学生学会合理规划自己的时间和生活,培养时间管理意识和责任感,同时感受丰富多彩的校园生活和社会活动带来的乐趣与意义。在课堂互动和小组合作中,尊重每个学生的个性和想法,鼓励学生积极参与、勇于表达,关注学生的情感体验,为学生营造一个宽松、和谐、充满支持的学习环境,让学生在学习过程中感受到教师的关爱与尊重,增强学生的自信心和学习英语的热情,促进学生良好性格品质和人际交往能力的发展。(四)文化意识目标1.了解中西方重要节日、活动在日期表达上的特点和文化内涵,如西方的圣诞节(Christmas-December 25th)、复活节(Easter-usuallyin March or April),中国的春节(the Spring Festival-usually in Januaryor February)等,拓宽学生的国际视野,培养跨文化交际的意识和敏感性,使学生能够理解和尊重不同文化之间的差异。2.引导学生思考文化与生活的紧密联系,认识到文化在人们日常活动和节日庆祝中的具体体现,鼓励学生在跨文化交流中积极传播中华文化,同时吸收借鉴其他优秀文化成果,促进文化的交流与融合,提升学生的文化素养和综合人文素质。

语篇研读(附图)
本节课是对话篇, 本课时的主题意义是通过张鹏和Mr Jones就五月份学校组织的两个活动的日期进行对话的场景,引出询问活动的句型When is.. It’s on +具体日期。通过语篇学习生词和句型,感受上述旬型和词汇的语义和语用情景。认识序数词在日期中的表达,学习具体日期的英语表达方式。在match环节通过小组活动,先连线并进行问答。从而激发学生在真实的语言情境中来询问和表达某个活动的日期。让学生感知本节课句型的语义及语用情景。要求学生在语境中能用-When is the ... It’s on ...询问并能进行相关回答。

When is _________ It's on +具体日期.谈论谈论某个月的特殊日子, 大胆说英语。思维能力目标: 了解学校四五月份句型的活动,能运用所学句型询问和回答某活动的日期,积极参与校园集体活动,团结同学,热爱生活。能完成Write and talk部分说说某个活动的具体日期,并进行简单的问答。文化品格目标:通过游戏和小组合作等活动,学会与他人合作学习的能力了解英语的语言表达,体会不同的语言魅力,促进心智发展.
