参考范文:
Hello everyone, it is an honor to represent our group in summarizing our discussion.
We believe that while technology brings convenience and comfort, it’s also taking away some
valuable things from us.
First, we are losing real face-to-face communication. Many people now prefer texting to
talking, which weakens personal connections. Second, our critical thinking and problem-solving
skills may decline since we often rely on quick online answers instead of thinking deeply. Finally,
technology encourages a more inactive lifestyle, leading to health issues like obesity and poor
fitness. In short, technology undoubtedly enhances our lives, but we must balance its use with
real-life experiences and personal effort.
Thanks for your listening.

Para1.My heart stopped. What This was exactly what my dad had warned me about. The
dangers of being alone, of wandering through stores without someone watching out for me. For a
moment, panic gripped me, my mind racing through every possibility. I swallowed hard. “Who is
it ”The woman gave a small nod toward the cleanser aisle. “That’s him.”I turned my head
cautiously, my pulse racing. And then I caught a glimpse of the familiar gray jacket. It was my
dad.
Para2. I signed, shaking my head with a knowing smile. “That’s my father,”I told the
woman. She laughed softly and then walked away. I turned and made my way toward him. I
raised an eyebrow and asked,“Dad, were you following me ” He hesitated, then let out a small
sigh.“I just wanted to make sure you were okay.”I should have been annoyed. But as I looked at
him—the concern in his eyes—I realized something. This wasn’t about him not trusting me. This
was about love.

Text 10
George was a quiet boy and a good student. In elementary school, he wasn’t exactly
popular, but he always had a couple of really good friends. He didn’t really like sports or
music, but he tried his best at every subject. (17) In middle school, he was really good at
science and math. (18) While most kids were going to the movies or the pool on weekends,
George preferred to design his own special projects. He dreamed of owning his own
technology company someday. (18) When George went to high school, some of the other
students made fun of him for being into books and computers. This made George very upset, but
he tried not to let anything keep him from achieving his dream. George got excellent grades and
was accepted by both Harvard and Yale, but he decided to go to Stanford because there
were many opportunities for people who wanted to work in Silicon Valley. (19) For the first
time ever, George felt accepted by the people around him. After graduating, he took a job as a
computer programmer at Apple. After working there for two years, George met the woman
who became his wife later. (20) Five more years after that, George left to start his own company,
finally realizing his childhood dream.
