英语说课稿(English)
Good morning/afternoon everyone,I’m happy that I have a chance to be here talking about my teaching ideas.
At the beginning of my teaching presentation. I’d like to say sth about the aims of English in primary school. I think the mainly instructional aims of teaching English in primary school is to cultivate pupils’ basic abilities of their listening 、speaking and their good sense of the English language. It is very important to develop their keen interest in English.
Today I’m going to talk about Part A of 《Unit 9 Breakfast》, Fun with English of book 4B.This teaching material includes five pictures. It mainly deals with the key structures “Where’s… Where are the… ” and “There’s no…” to identify the locations. It provides a real situations for the Ss to practice the structure “ Where’s the/Where are the …” and its answers
Through my teaching of this lesson,Ss should make progress on the knowledge, abilities and emotion.
1. Aims on the knowledge
To enable the Ss to understand and speak the words: a glass, a table, a fridge, an egg, bread.
To enable the Ss to use the structures skillfully.
To enable the Ss to understand and speak: What’s for breadfast Have some juice then. Make sure that Ss can use these sentences in daily life.
2. Aims on the abilities
To develop Ss’ abilities of listening and speaking.
To train the Ss’ ability of working in groups.
To foster Ss’ abilities of communication and their innovation.
3. Aims on the emotion
To foster Ss’ consciousness of good co-operation and proper competition.
To lead Ss to show their love for life and form a good living habit.
To reach these aims,I will let the Ss learn in real situations to make the Ss get a better understanding of the key structure of the dialogue. I will arrange four kinds of activities: singing, guessing game, acting and chanting. And in this lesson a recorder, a teaching picture, food and some drinks should be needed. Students should prepare some food and some drinks.
Now I will mainly talk about the teaching procedures and purposes of my designing
Step 1. Warm-up
First, I’d like to ask Ss to Sing the song <… …>together.
Then I’ll have a Free talk with the Ss about things in the classroom by
asking“What’s in the classroom ” to review the structure“There’s /There’re…”.
Because I think It is very important to form a better English learning surrounding for the Ss by singing and doing some total physical response and at the same time it provides situations to review the knowledge what they have learned for the step.
Step 2. Presentation
Frist, I’d like to show a picture of a dinning room and say:This is my dinning
room What’s in my dinning room Make Ss introduce my dinning room with the
structure“There’s/There’re…”that they have learned. Help Ss read the words:
“a fridge ,a cupboard, a table” correctly.When the students say:“There’s a fridge.”I’ll say:Yes,It’s a fridge.but u
2.Divid the whole class into four groups to have a competition.Let them guess: What’s in the fridge If the Ss understand the meaning of the key structure of this lesson. To help Ss to understand the meaning of the key structure:There’s no ….I can take a glass of milk and say: There’s some milk in the glass now. Then drink them out and say:There’s no milk in the glass now.Give Ss these two pictures to practice the structure:There’s no tea in the cup. There’s no juice in the grass.
Purpose: Proper competition can arouse the Ss’ interest in English learning.
3.Then.I open the fridge and say: There’s no milk,no bread and no eggs in the fridge. What’s for breakfast Let Ss show the food and drinks they have prepared to me. Show another two pictures and make Ss practice:What’s for Liu Tao’s breakfast And What’s for Yang Ling’s Breakfast?
Purpose:It is much easier for the Ss to understand the meaning“What’s for breakfast ” in the real situations.
4.With the help of these two pictures. I may present the key structure of this lesson by asking:Where’s Liu Tao Where are Nancy and Helen
Purpose:To present the key structure“Where’s/Where’re…” one by one is easier for the Ss to learn and grasp the meanings.
5.Play a guessing game to practice the key structure.During this game.I will make Ss understand the word“have”in the sentence“Have some juice then”using my body language. And to consolidate the knowledge they have learned. A chant is presented here for the Ss to read:
“juice,juice,Where’s the bread Fridge,fridge,It’s in the fridge…”
6.Let the Ss work in pairs with the key structure
“Where’s/Where’re… It’s/They’re…”
Purpose: this step is used here to develop Ss’ ability of communication and also their ability of co-operation will be well trained.
Step 3 Practice and consolidation
1.Show the teaching picture and play the tape recorder.Let the Ss listhen and imitate the dialogue.Pay attention to their pronunciation and intonation.
Purpose:It is very important to cultivate pupils’ basic abilities of listening and speaking and their good sence of English language.
2.To help the students grasp the key structure better.I’d like design some Exercise. For example.Put the words into correct orders.
is, juice, the, where( )
Where is the juice
3.To consolidate the knowledge they learned,I designed four pictures. Each group thinks about one picture and make a dialogue of their own.
Purpose:It can lead Ss foster the abilities of their communication and their innovation.
Step4 Homework
At the end of my teaching presentation, homework is assigned to the Ss. The Ss are asked to Write down the dialogue they have talked about and read partA 3 times after class.
Purpose: Revision is so important that Ss should speak English as much as they as in class or after class. It is necessary for the Ss to do some extensive exercises after class to consolidate the knowledge they learned.
At the end,I’d like to show my blackboard design
