一、教材分析
外研版7年级英语下册Module ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )9 Life history 共三个单元, 本节课是第九模块第一单元,首先以对话的形式介绍了马克.吐温及其代表作《汤姆.索耶历险记》.选材和编写目的主要有两个: 一是向学生介绍名家,马克吐温是世界著名的小说家、幽默大师,也是美国现实主义文学家的杰出代表;二是引导学生阅读名著,马克吐温的《汤姆.索耶历险记》是非常适合初中生阅读的作品,它描写的是少年儿童追求新奇、冒险的生活,这会深深吸引这个阶段的孩子,对话的编写也蕴含着教材作者的良苦用心,除了在短短的对话中介绍马克吐温主要的人生经历外,还以同龄人的口吻让中国学生了解到英美很多学生都读过这本书,而且很喜欢。此外,编者还意识的向学生呈现英美学生长做的功课---写报告。
第二单元是读写课,阅读课文是传记文 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )体,本模块以生活经历为话题,主要以英国著名剧作家莎士比亚的生活经历为题材,通过学习,使学生了解这位一代文学巨匠。
本模块的主要语法是一般过去时,教学重点是通过对个人或他人过去经历的描述,重点学习本模块中出现的重点词汇、短语、固定搭配和句型。
课前准备一些节日和马克 吐温以及莎士比亚的的图片和资料,让学生在时讨论和观看。
学情分析
