If you read the story carefully, you’ll find the boy ______ his father’s footsteps.
逻辑连接词:and/but/however/so等词提示逻辑关系(并列、转折、因果)。
例:She tried her best, ______ she still failed the exam.
近义词辨析: say(陈述内容) vs. speak(语言能力) vs. tell(告诉) vs. talk(交谈)。
例:He ______ the truth to his parents.
固定搭配:look forward to(后接doing);depend on(依赖);give up(放弃)。
例:She has made up her mind to ______ smoking.
By the time we arrived, the train ______ already left.
He pretended ______ when the teacher came in. 答案应为“to be reading”。
The Yangzhou Fried Rice, a traditional dish in Yangzhou, ______ delicious. 答案需结合文化背景选“is known to be”。
一词多义:light(光/轻的)、bank(银行/河岸)。
连词误用 :though/although与but不可同时出现。
He ______ to school every day.
The dog was very ______. It always helped the blind man.
If it ______ tomorrow, we will go hiking.
例:—Why did you leave early —______ I had a headache. 需选“Because”而非“So”。
情感态度题:增加对作者观点、情绪的推断(如“Which word best describes the boy ”)。
The ancient town of Yangzhou is famous for its ______ bridges and gardens.
With the development of AI, many jobs ______ in the future.
动词短语:give up/put off/care about等。
连词辨析:because/since/although的逻辑选择。
代词指代:it/they/one的用法区分。

from从;over越过;with伴随,和……
根据“she took her hat off, but her hair went...it”可知,小女孩的尴尬是Emilio记忆深刻的这一“瞬间”。故选D。
根据后文提到“donated it to Hair We Share”可知,他捐发。故选A。
故选A。
before之前;while在……期间;after之后;but但是。根据下文“taking part in sports was a hard task in itself”可知,应是指“在运动期间”留长发不便。故选B。
根据“and he also had to face harmful words from others. Yet, he...to let anything stop him from making a difference.”

It was hard to show my mom the 6 . She was used to seeing As and Bs on my tests. Well, eventually, I showed her and she couldn’t 7 it. She was angry but most of all, she was disappointed.
Weeks passed and my parents started to 8 the way I used the phone. They would say, “We have noticed that you never pay attention to us. It’s like you have your own little 9 now and we don’t communicate as much as you do with your phone.” Then I started to know I was spending too much time on the phone, though I still acted like they were 10 .
A week later, I tried 11 a whole day without a cell phone and it didn’t go that badly. I had so much 12 because I was actually spending time with my family and paying attention to them. From that day, I had a 13 opinion towards cell phones.
Phones really take you away from the rest of the world. I’m not saying that phones are 14 and not to use them, but you do have to spare some time to spend with your family and not get stuck with your phone all day. My phone took away 15 from my homework and from my family. It also affected my grades.
I will have my phone and my time under better control from then on.
