学情分析
八年级的学生已经拥有了一定的语言和文化的功底,可以进行一些简单的表演。但对于童话剧这种文体,是学生们头一回接触的,比较陌生,在讲授的时候要多加引导和类比。对于《糖果屋》这个故事,部分学生是听说过的,当然,以学生比较能够接受的双语动画的方式来了解故事梗概是再好不过了。对于人物性格的把握,在之前的教学环节中也曾经有所渗透,开展起来应该也不难。估计在真正的表演过程中,可能会因为对于教材和对话的不熟悉,增加难度。所以我尝试设计cue card来辅助进行表演。
效果分析
本节课基本达到了预期的效果,具体表现:
对于童话剧的掌握速度很快,源于很多同学课下了解过很多其他的童话;
在做课本2c的过程中,部分学生遇到了困难,在给与充足的时间,并且给出提示后,困难就迎刃而解了;
在输出环节,基本所有组对于角色都有了把握,个别学生在剧本熟悉方面还做的不足,利用cue card解决了不少的问题;
最后的snow white模仿环节,很多学生都达到了水到渠成,基本能够把握住了stepmother的情感,达到了本节课的教学目标;
教学设计
Step 1. Greeting
“Do you like stories?” “Do you know these stories?”
展示白雪公主、灰姑娘、睡美人、小红帽等图片,让学生说出名字。
Step 2. Guessing game
“I will show you some information and you can tell me the names.”
每个童话故事给出相应的提示信息,让学生们猜故事。目的在于活跃气氛,并且引入了stepmother,husband and wife等新的单词和短语。
Step 3. Watch a video
“Do you know Hansel and Gratle? Let’s watch a video.”
为了让学生能够更快的进入课文,了解故事,采用了学生们最容易接受的动画片的形式。也为后面体会人物情感打下基础。
Step4. Do exercise of 2c
“Look at the guide paper and try to finish the task.”
在学案上面重新设计了课本的2c的内容,采用了动画里面的图片,辅助课本的文字进行配对练习,把视频和课本联系在了一起,也让学生对于整片课文有一个初步的印象。
Step 5. Introduce the text type
“A passage include the scenes and background. What kind of this passage?”
介绍scenes和background,从而引出课文的文体是童话剧,让学生对童话剧这个文体有个直观的感受和通俗的理解。
Step 6. Details of this passage
“Read the background carefully and answer the two questions.” ”Listen to the tape. What do you think of Hansel?”
通过背景的分析,初步了解stepmother的性格和Hansel的机智,并且通过听录音,让学生自己说出人物的性格,并且让学生带着这种感受去不断读文中人物的对话,并且随机叫学生进行语段的生成。在这个环节教师尽量不发表看法,多让孩子去体会,自己去说。
Step 7. Team Work
“Work in your team and finish Task III in the guide paper.”
分小组进行对话的准备,并且告诉他们展演的标准和注意的事项,题型cue card的使用方法。这里给更多的时间,让学生们有一个充足的准备。
Step 8. Exhibition
分小组进行展示,一定要注意口头的评价,从表演,创新,情感三个方面打出分数,并且给予一定的鼓励。
Step 9. Imitation
“Here are two sentences of Snow White. Can you read them by yourself? Watch the video and try to perform.”
这里引入了白雪公主动画片里面最著名的魔镜魔镜话,先让学生进行自我理解的朗读,然后放动画片,模仿动画片里面人物的神态情感继续朗读,并且全班自行进行演绎,这是本节课的高潮,也是对于本节课的学习的应用。
Step 10. Ending
“Try to go into the role when you play.”
说出本节课的主题,尝试着走进角色进行表演。

Section B部分的教学重点是了解西方童话故事的表现形式,尝试用表演或是内容概括的形式进行语言输出。教学难点是剧本的演绎,人物的把握和词汇的恰当使用。而本节课中心环节2b内容,提供了《糖果屋》的部分剧本,让学生了解戏剧的形式,2c部分提供了各场景的描述,帮助学生进一步了解个场景的主题。
观课评论
本节课刘老师在教学手段上面有了一定的创新,所用的iPad教学让学生和听课老师耳目一新,课件的制作也很精美,一些图片的插入,后台录音的应用,视频的播放都恰到好处,对于拖拽功能,特殊转场等一些独特的应用也是不错。不过明显不是很熟练,希望有了第一次之后,能继续把软件的潜力充分挖掘。

本堂课刘老师抛开了传统的阅读课教学的思路,大胆的把表演带到了课堂,通过人物语言来分析性格,并且反复的模读来体会人物的,并且把这种情感表演出来,这明显是语文课的套路。把一堂外语课,能够上出一堂母语课的感觉,这确实是一种创新,在培养孩子情感方面,在提升孩子能力方面都有很大的作用。

刘老师没有落脚到传统的写作,也很少有方法的指导,整堂课都是在学生自己感悟,疯狂的朗读中进行的,对于语言学科的学习,确实不需要说太多,这种放体会放感悟给学生的做法是值得提倡的。最终的snow white的语言生成相信在孩子们朗读完就已经有了一个直观的印象了。

刘老师这堂课理念新,手段新,不足在于新的手段可能更少的关注学生,更多的关注iPad。不过这也是多媒体的一个弊端。不过年轻人能够进行勇敢的尝试,这种精神是值得提倡的。

课后反思
本堂课我进行了一定的挑战与创新,放弃传统的ppt,采用的是iPad平台上的keynote。设计的初衷在于研究keynote的功能,以及是否能够代替ppt成为一种新的教学手段。事实证明,由于操作的不熟练以及传统的惯性思维,在准备以及上课的过程当中出现了偏差,不过还是顺利的完成了教学任务。下面现总结一下自己对于keynote工具的一点看法:
优势:1. 比传统ppt生动,体现在一些转场和特效方面;2. 编辑起来比较方便,点触操作比传统的鼠标操作更加便捷,而且iPad可以随身携带,随时编辑;3. 可以运用大量丰富的资源,例如后天的mp3播放功能,视频播放功能,app等,这个在ppt的使用中习惯于插入,而这里可以直接使用;4. 可以利用拖拽功能进行与学生的互动与检查,利用标注功能实现课堂现场的生成;
不足:1. 最大的问题在于上课频繁的关注iPad而减少了与学生们之间的交流,教学被iPad拴住了,教师自我的展示少了;2. 对比ppt的图片资源,兼容性还是有很大差距的,操作起来不便捷;3. iPad上的keynote功能有限,无法展示全貌,要辅助以mac的电脑才能体现keynote的最大功效;
在课堂的设计方面我也曾经想过,像这篇文章是否按照传统的阅读课进行讲解,最终生成写作或是一定的阅读技巧。这篇文章有它的特殊性,童话剧的文体在考试中的涉及也不多,所以我大胆的设计成了对于孩子情感的提升以及组织表演的训练,最终落脚在体会人物语言,分析人物性格,模仿人物再现表演上。我认为这是还原英语的本真,能够真正让孩子们在体验中把握英语的学习。
