学情分析
初一学生的基本特点还是“小”，所以课程设计时，我力争起点低一些，帮助所有学生有信心的进入文章的学习。另外，设计课程时，还遵循了趣味性原则，让学生学的有趣。之后层层深入，满足学习水平高的学生的学习欲望，最后再以小组合作的方式，让学习好的学生带动整个小组输出文章。
效果分析
“教”的效果分析
在本节课的教学过程中，以贯彻阅读获取信息为主线，通过通读全文选取题目，细读段落获得细节信息的方法，培养锻炼学生的阅读能力。
通过小组讨论、思想共享等环节的设置，共同合作完成写作。
“学”的效果分析
学生通过本节课的学习，学习到了save, symbol, flag, forget, place, danger, be in danger, cut down, tree, ivory, over, zoo语言知识，并成功输出了一篇文章。
学生在参与小组讨论及思想共享的过程中，有机会表达自己的想法，有机会实现思维的碰撞。在讨论和听取他人表述的过程中，提高了对此篇寓言故事的理解，完善了认识事物的角度，提高保护动物关爱地球的意识。

本单元的主题为介绍和讨论动物。A部分的第一课时主要是认识动物和表达你是否喜欢这种动物，第二课时深入介绍了一种动物——大象。介绍大象以语篇形式出现，是初一学生逐渐开始接触的加长语篇。不过，初一学生的语篇阅读还是充满了趣味性。
文章主要分为两个部分，第一部分介绍大象，让大家认识大象的聪明能干；第二部分话锋一转，介绍了大象的生存现状，呼吁大家保护大象。
学生在阅读中不仅学习的新的词语表达，更是让大家明白了保护大象，爱护野生动物的重要性。
观评记录
本节课较好的实现了教学三维目标，落实了基础知识，口语与阅读练习量较大，并有效拓展，课堂设计有趣，某些环节引人入胜，激发了学生的阅读欲望，培养了学生热爱动物，保护自然的情感。
在本节课中教师尤其注意对学生语音语调的训练及语言使用的训练，能够引导学生通过语音语调的训练来提高语言表现力，继而提高学生学习英语的兴趣。教师的评价及时有效，整堂课教师面带笑容，给学生以轻松融洽的学习环境。
教学建议：
整体阅读部分要更加突出，有意识的培养学生整体把握文章的能力。
老师的引导较多，再放手交给学生更多任务。
听读的环节应该再加强。

课后反思
因为长期教初二初三，对初一孩子的特点还有新教材不是特别熟悉，一开始设计课程的时候题目偏难、比较枯燥，经过试讲和磨课，课程逐渐成型。
上课的时候感触，对学情预计过高，设计过难。本以为课程设计已经具备了一定的趣味性，可是实际实施过程中还是有一定的难度。再就是对于整体阅读贯彻不够到位，由于时间分配问题，没有按计划听读全文。第三，用了三段视频，有点多了。
希望通过这次上课磨课让自己的教学水平得到提高，做更好英语教师！
