【教学内容分析】本单元的主题语境是“人与自我”,涉及的主题语境内容是认识自我、丰富自我、完善自我。本单元从京剧不同的脸谱所代表的人物性格人手,引出单元话题,围绕青年人对自己外貌形象的看法和专家的分析评论、感动中国人物马旭的事迹、经典文学中人物内心与外貌的冲突、生活中如何对待外貌美和心灵美等相关子话题进行深入讨论,旨在帮助学生学会认识自我、评价自我,树立正确的审美观和价值观。本课时为读写课,涉及了本单元 Developing Ideas 和 Writing 部分的内容。Developing ideas 的语篇类型是小说,节选自法国著名作家 Victor Hugo 的TheHunchback of Notre-Dame (《巴黎圣母院》),讲述了男主人公 Quasimodo 在救下 Esmeralda 后,两人在对话和相处中对彼此更加深入地了解。语篇主要由两部分组成,斜体字部分为小说的背景介绍,正文通过 Quasimodo 和 Esmeralda 的对话刻画出 Quasimodo 因自己丑陋的外表而遭受的内心极大痛苦,但却未曾停止对真善美的追求,Esmeralda 则在相处中对 Quasimodo 逐渐产生情感上的变化。Writing 的语篇类型是文学作品简介,介绍了名著The Picture of Dorian Gray(《道林格雷的画像》),讲述了帅气的道林格雷在一味的追求外在美的过程中逐渐迷失自我,最终导致悲惨结局的故事。该语篇共分为三部分,第一部分为小说的大体介绍,第二部分为小说的关键情节,第三部分为小说的中心主旨。两个语篇通过对主人公外貌和内在的冲突与矛盾的描写,突出了不能只根据外表去判断一个人,而更应该关注内在美这一正确的审美观。
在本课学习结束时,学生能够:
1.掌握并能够恰当地使用相关词汇描述文学形象的外表和个人品质;
2.梳理小说中两位主人公对彼此的态度以及态度的变化,分析其背后隐含的意义;
3.掌握文学作品简介的结构与内容、文体特征和写作手法。
4.运用所学知识写一篇关注外貌和品质的文学作品简介。
5.思考文学作品中人物外表与内心的冲突,加深对于美丽这一单元主题的理解
