学情分析
本本单元是人教版英语(三年级起点)四年级下册第四单元,本单元主题是“At the farm” ,本单元通过农场里各种动物以及农作物的学习,从而展现了农场中缤纷多彩的生活。主要通过展示学生参观农场的情景,学习部分蔬菜和动物的单词sheep, hen, cow, horse, goat, lamb及其复数形式的表达;学习如何询问这些动、植物的名称和数量。能够运用What are these They are ... They are so ...和句型Are these ...Yes, they are. / No, they aren't.来询问和描述事物的特点,How many…do you have?询问数量,要求学生能用本单元的句型与单词进行有关农场里各种动物和各种农作物的表达。虽然单元主题与学生的实际生活相隔甚远,但其内容与学生的日常生活联系紧密。四年级的学生,学生已有的相关背景知识有颜色单词、体形外貌形容词、数词等,这些背景知识结合本单元的蔬菜和动物整合运用,通过知识的不断滚动形成知识链。在教学过程中,对于学习困难的学生,可通过请学生复述老师的话或是复述同学的回答,让学生对老师和同学的发言引起注意,让学生意识到要仔细听别人的说话。对于学习还不错,但是不愿或害怕发言的学生,课堂中教师主动请他们表达其意见,培养他们良好的学习英语的习惯。充分运用英语名、英文歌、儿歌、绕口令、顺口溜、谜语等,给予小学生语言感染的机会。还可开展各种活动,鼓励学生交际,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,培养学生灵活运用语言的能力。
二、单元整体设计思路
本单元通过农场里各种动物以及农作物的学习,从而展现了农场中缤纷多彩的生活。围绕单元主题,深挖各课时话题。本单元要学习的核心词汇:tomato-tomatoes, potato-potatoes, carrot-carrots, green bean-green beans,horse-horses, cow-cows, hen-hens, sheep-sheep等 。在单元主题意义的引领下,以“At the farm” 为主题,教师创设贴近学生学习生活的真实情境,设计层层深入的教学活动,带领学生通过观察、探究、体验等方式学习有关“如何询问这些动、植物的名称和数量”等的交际用语。语篇核心词汇核心句型学习内容学习时长学习目标A talkthese, yum1.What are these 2. 语篇研读(附图)
本节课是阅读和故事篇, 阅读篇的主题意义是设计宣传海报而展开。通过Mike 视角,以海报的形式呈现农场里的植物园和动物园,结合主情景图介绍 Mr MacDonald's farm,从而展现了农场中缤纷多彩的生活。故事篇通过讲述Zip带领Zoom参观自家的农场, Zip向Zoom介绍了农场里的蔬菜、奶牛、母鸡、绵羊等,但是Zoom却对它们都不感兴趣, Zoom喜欢牛奶、鸡蛋、鸡肉和羊肉串。到了中午的时候,它们坐在草垛里休息,并-起用稻草做了一 个帽子,但是最后Zoom的帽子被奶牛当作食物吃掉了。故事通过它们之间的对话突出了Zoom憨态可掬的形象,故事结局出人意料,趣味性很强。 从而把整个单元中的词汇句型连接起来, 在情境中运用词汇和句型。
