1.本单元以“我们怎样改变(how we have changed)”为核心话题,在四年后老朋友见面的情景中,围绕本单元语言交际功能项目“谈论你过去是什么样”(talk about what you used to be like),逐步展开各项听、说、读、写活动,给人们一种有趣的体验和新鲜的感受。教学从谈论人物过去的外貌、性格,进一步延伸到谈论人物过去的心理感受,以及人物过去的爱好等,最后延伸到谈论现在的变化,将过去和现在教学进行对比。七八 年级也学习了如何表达某个人的外貌、性格特点、兴趣了爱好等等。这也为本课的学习及在真实情境中解决问题打下了基础。九年级大部分学生能够做到课前预习,能够独立思考,具备在教师和小组交流中积极思考,但是仍有少数学生不具备基本的预习能力以及缺乏思考问题的条理性、深度、严谨性。
2.本课时的学习流程如下:(听前)预习检测;观看视频,尝试描述《西游记》中人物→(听中)听取Mario及他朋友过去长相等细节内容→(听后)听并且retell,巩固听力内容。
3.本课时的重点:通过听力训练,掌握重点单词和句型。
本课时的难点:学生在实践中灵活的运用本单元的单词、短语和句型及学会谈论过去到现在发生的变化。
