状语从句
【用法】
1.unless引导条件状语从句
(1) unless连词，意为“除非，如果不”，引导条件状语从句。如果主句用将来时，或者主句谓语中含有情态动词，或者主句为祈使句时，从句用一般现在时。
They will go tomorrow unless it rains.除非明天下雨，否则他们会去那儿的。
Don’t touch the instruments unless the teacher allows you.没有老师的允许，不要乱动仪器。
(2) unless通常可以与if…not结构互换。
They will go tomorrow unless it rains.
= They will go tomorrow if it doesn’t rain.
2.as soon as引导时间状语从句
as soon as意为“一……就……”，引导时间状语从句。主句如果为将来时，从句用一般现在时。
He will come and see you as soon as he gets to our village.
他一来我们村子就会来看你。
3.so…that…引导结果状语从句
so… that…引导的结果状语从句有以下几种形式：
(1)主语+谓语+so+形容词/副词+that从句
The wind was so strong that we could hardly move forward.
风那么大，我们几乎不能前行。
(2) so+形容词+a/an+单数名词+that从句
It was so hot a day that they all went swimming.
天那么热，他们都去游泳了。
(3) so +many/few+复数名词+that从句
He has so few friends that he often feels lonely.
他没有几个朋友，常常感到很孤独。
(4) so+much/ little(少)+不可数名词+that从句
I had so little money that I couldn’t buy a mobile phone.
我没多少钱，以至于买不了手机。
【注意】当that引导的结果状语从句是肯定句时，so…that可以与be…enough to do进行转换。当that引导的结果状语从句是否定句时，可与too… to或be not… enough to do进行转换。
