Robert Frost(1874-1963) was one of America`s most famous poets. He won the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry four times and was awarded the Congressional gold Medal for his works. His poetry has been praised for its natural themes, mostly set in the rural areas of New England where Frost lived most of his life, and for his colloquial approach to American language. His poetry generally has a regular rhythm and rhyme, and is easy to read aloud and remember. He often used simple settings in his poems to explore complex personal and social themes. Among Frost`s best-known poems are The Road Not taken, Fire and Ice, Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening and Birches.

Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening 夜林畔小憩
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
想来我认识这片树林,
尽管林主就住在邻村;
却不会见我在此驻马,
赏他林中漫天雪纷纷。
我的小马一定很惊讶:
不见有农家为何停下,
偏在寒林和冰湖中间,
还是一年中最暗傍晚。
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
小马摇摇身上的铃串,
想问我是否又把错犯。
唯一能够听到的声音,
来自轻风和漫天雪片。
树林很美很暗很幽深,
我虽神往但有约在先,
要赶多少路才能安眠,

Glad to hear from your letter ! I am writing you to tell you my view about beauty selfies.
As you said in the letter, many girls are now so addicted to beauty selfies that they spend hours a day in editing their selfies. [Firstly] , external beauty can be an expression of our personalities, helping us leave a good and positive impression on others . [In addition], [even though] it is true that inner beauty is very important, external beauty can't be completely overlooked, for it plays a part in the image ( we present to the world). However, spending too much time on beauty selfies can affect our learning as well as our bodies. After all, being healthy is the most important, (which not only makes us more beautiful, but also makes us happier.) Do you agree with me

My Understanding of "The Road Not Taken"
"The Road Not Taken" is a famous poem by Robert Frost. It talks about a person who stands at a fork in the road and has to choose which path to take.
The poem says that there are two roads diverging in a yellow wood, and the person has to choose one. He looks down both roads and sees they are about the same, making it hard to decide. In the end, he chooses one road and takes it, leaving the other for another day.
What I understand from this poem is that life is full of choices. We often have to choose between different paths, and each choice leads us to a different future. The poet feels a little bit sorry for not taking the other road, but he also knows that he can't go back and change his choice.
The poem also tells us that even though we make choices, we often think about what would have happened if we chose the other path. This is natural, but we should also be happy with the choices we make and the lives we live.
In my opinion, "The Road Not Taken" is a poem about choice, regret, and acceptance. It reminds us to cherish our decisions and to be happy with the lives we create for ourselves.
