The Magic Rules
In Sunshine Primary School, Class 2B had a big problem. Their classroom was always noisy and messy. Books were left on the floor, students shouted during lessons, and no one helped each other. Ms. Green, their teacher, decided it was time to make a change.
One Monday morning, she asked the class, “What makes a great classroom ”The students thought hard.
“I think we need rules!” said Tim. “Like ‘Don’t shout’ or ‘Share pencils’!”
“Good idea!” said Ms. Green. “Let’s write down all your ideas.”
The class brainstormed 20 rules. Then Ms. Green said, “Now, let’s vote for the top five!”
They raised their hands one by one. The winning rules were:
Listen when others speak.
Keep desks tidy.
Raise your hand to answer.
Say “please”and“thank you.”
Help friends in need.
The next day, Ms. Green brought colorful paper. “Let’s make a poster!” she said. The class drew pictures and wrote the rules in big letters. They stuck the poster on the wall.
At first, some students forgot. Lucy ran in the classroom and knocked over a chair. “Oops!”she said. But her friend Jack reminded her, "Remember Rule 2: Keep desks tidy!" Lucy quickly cleaned up.
One afternoon, Emma forgot her eraser. She felt worried, but Lily shared hers. “Thank you!” said Emma. “That’s Rule 5!”Lily smiled.
Slowly, the classroom became happier. Students smiled more, and lessons were peaceful. Even the principal noticed! “Class 2B, you’re amazing!” she said.
