(2024·泰安东岳模拟)Arsh Pal had a big dream when he started selling his artworks at the age of eight.He wanted to raise $ 1,000 for charities (慈善机构).
Now,five years later,the American boy has far surpassed his plan.Arsh has sold 500 paintings and brought in $ 15,000.Almost every dollar of this income (收入) has gone to charities.
When Arsh was a little boy,his parents introduced him to many activities.The boy,however,was interested in none of them.Things changed when he got a watercolor set (水彩套装) for his eighth birthday.Arsh began to spend all his free time in front of an easel (画架).
