教材分析 教育科学出版社小学英语(三年级起点)五年级上册 Module 4 Enjoy foods and drinks(第3课时)Unit 7的对话是Xiaoling, Ben, Janet在餐厅互相询问想喝什么饮料并询价购买付款。旨在引导学生询问及表达喜好并有礼貌地点餐。本课时Unit 8的语篇是情景转述Xiaoling和Ben的对话,内容是Xiaoling的生日晚宴邀请了来自中国和英国的朋友,Xiaoling和Ben商量晚餐做什么菜,最后决定依据两国朋友的口味定制餐单。旨在引导学生了解中外饮食文化的差异,合理设计和描述餐单。
学情分析 五年级学生年龄集中在10-11岁,处于儿童向青少年过渡的关键期。认知发展上,他们的思维正从具体形象思维向抽象逻辑思维转变,能够理解较为复杂的语言规则,但仍需借助直观教具(如图片、视频、实物等)和情境化活动来强化理解。借此,我们使用SWOT法来进行学情分析。Strength 食物与饮料的话题与学生的生活密切相关,学生非常感兴趣。五年级的学生对本单元的常见食物与饮料的词汇已有初步认识,对本单元所谈论的家人、同伴的饮食喜好也有一定的认知和交流经验。Weakness本单元涉及到量词的使用和餐食价格的计算,这是学生在交际中要突破的两个难点。本单元涉及探究中外饮食文化的差异,五年级的学生在这方面的知识储备较少,部分学生缺乏搜集难度适中的相关英文语篇的能力。Opportunity五年级的学生思维能力已从具象向抽象逐步转变,且五年级的学生具备一定的阅读能力,如果教师提供语言支架适当引导,学生能通过小组合作的形式归纳、梳理、总结和表达。Threat食物背后蕴含的文化和意义多涉及历史、风俗、寓意这一类难度较高的语言表达。对学生理解、内化、输出都具有一定的挑战性。
核心素养目标 1.能通过自主阅读过程中主动获取信息,并能借助图表梳理中外友人的饮食喜好,懂得尊重地域文化和差异。2.在跟读、自主朗读和小组合作角色扮演中,能理解、流利朗读和复述语篇内容。3.能运用本课时核心支架For starters/the main course /dessert, we can have …,通过询问调查,合作设计并介绍宴会餐单,增强合作探究意识和语用能力。

环节三 Task 1:1.Listen and choose 2.Read, match and say. 3.Let’s think and watch.创设情境关于Xiaoling的生日派对,但她有点担心因为中西方朋友的饮食习惯有差异,从而进入课文的学习。 1.Listen and choose. 2.Read, match and say. 3.Let’s think and watch. 让学生先听再做选择,整体感知后知道故事的脉络。接着阅读课文再配对,最后思考与观看视频。让学生检测自己的题目是否正确,判断学生掌握程度。

环节五 Task3:Let’s design the menu. 请参考前置作业,小组合作在卡纸上设计美食菜单,选择一种难度完成特色美食介绍短文。 Let’s design the menu. 小组合作制定菜单,让学生感受中西饮食文化差异并旨在引导学生了解中外饮食文化的差异后,合理设计和描述餐单并锻炼小组同学之间合作的能力。
环节六 Show your menu. 小组合作为食物派对完成一份精美的美食菜单后,小组成员上台展示自己组设计的菜单。利用句型输出和介绍自己组的菜单。 Let’s show and reportour menu.选择不同程度的语言支架,介绍美食会餐单。(以是否自信、生动以及有创意评价各小组汇报情况。) 小组成员上台展示自己组设计的菜单。利用板书句型输出和介绍自己组的菜单。

教学反思 这节课有亮点也有很多不足,亮点在于1. 主题为引领、语篇为依托:秉持英语学习活动观组织和实施教学,以主题为引领,依托语篇,通过学习理解、应用实践和迁移创新等活动设计,引导学生整合性地学习语言知识,进而运用所学知识,并让学生在亲身参与和实践中体验英语学习的乐趣。这有助于培养学生的语言实践能力和合作精神。 2.“教-学-评”一体化:教学的过程中注重“教-学-评”一体化的整体育人观念,以评促学,以评促教,围绕单元主题开展教学活动,以评价驱动学生核心素养的发展。针对不同的评价任务,我们设计了创编对话、制定菜单、制作海报等不同的表现性评价,驱使学生在真实的情境中协同分工、创造性地解决问题。3. 探究多元文化,形成正确价值观:本单元的学习不局限于语言能力的培养,更重要的是以故事阅读为载体,引导学生主动探究中外典型饮食及其背后的文化寓意,学会理性看待世界,增进国际理解。不足之处:在前面实施的任务一当中,应该是有足够的时间让学生完成题目,但因为感觉学生在读的过程中有不明白的地方,浪费了一点时间。到后来Task3 小组合作完成菜单的时候反而不够时间,只能给两组同学分享,下次可以再把握好时间。
