专题二 完形填空
近几年广东省中考采用的完形填空题是从四个所给选项中选择一个最佳选项的形式。其题型为一篇词数200左右的短文,文后提供10个单项选择的小题。其选材多数是哲理故事性的短
文,也有科普文章、人物传记、社会文化等一类的文章。完形填空主要考查词义辨析和根据上下文得出答案。
2024年完形填空难度与往年持平,整体难度中等。文章文体与往年一致,叙事类文章。考点全部为实词,没有考查连词、介词等虚词。
完形填空的考查基本以动词(2~3个)、动词短语(1~2个)、名词(2~3个)、形容词(2~3个)和副词(1~2个)的辨析为主。备考中建议多训练做题方法:通读全文,瞻前顾后,联系上下文以及关注事件的起因、经过和结果。同时,考生在平时的练习中要注意积累常见的词汇和固定搭配,重视篇章内在的逻辑关系和文章脉络。

解题步骤:
1、细读首句,摸清文路。
首句一般不设空,抓住首句的关键词(名词或动词),弄清文脉,把握文章大意。
2、速览全文,把握大意。
跳过空格,通读短文,获得整体印象。切忌仓促下笔。
3、瞻前顾后,初选答案。
在理解全文的基础上,结合所有选项细读全文,兼顾上下文,寻找线索,对选项逐一分析、比较和筛选,排除干扰,初定答案。
4、复核全文,调整答案。
完成各题后,重读文章,代入选项,推敲文意,检查所选答案是否使短文意思前后连贯。若发现错误或疑问,再次斟酌,修正答案。
【技巧1】语境推断法
【解读】根据上下文的语境提示或暗示,身临其境地理解事件发生的语境,体会语境和作者的情感态度,推断出符合场景的最佳选项。
【例题】Little Dora always wanted a sister.So when Mum told her she would have one in six months, she felt very     .

分析:根据上文“Little Dora always wanted a sister.”可推断,朵拉得知她的妈妈将在六个月后生孩子时,感到很开心,故选D。
【技巧2】词汇复现法
【解读】“词汇复现法”指的是通过在上下文中找到与某个选项相联系的词,从而判断出正确选项的方法。
这些词包括选项的:①原词;②同根词(如protect和protection); ③同/近义词(如road和trail);④反义词(如wrong和correct);⑤上/下义词(如apple和fruit)
【例1】原词复现
Many kids are crazy about space…Sam also said he had watched almost all the _____movies he could find.

分析:根据首句“Many kids are crazy about space”可知,许多孩子对太空很狂热,可推断Sam看过几乎所有关于太空的电影。此处为space 的原词复现,故选C。
注意:互为原词的两个词/词组词性相同。
【例2】同根词复现
Later,I found that TCM could be of great help to some illnesses lasting for a long time, such as sleeping problems or physical pains.The     methods in TCM also took my wife’s interest.

【技巧3】生活常识法
【解读】与我们原有的生活经验、文化背景知识以及科普常识等结合起来,进行简单推理,从而得出正确答案。
【例题】Taking exercise is a good way to get energy again.Swimming and walking are good choices for you.All kinds of exercise     your health.

分析:结合常识可知,运动对我们的健康有好处,故选D。
【技巧4】固定搭配法
【解读】完形填空以语境考查为主,但也有小部分题目考查固定搭配和固定句型。解题过程中我们需要结合所学固定搭配选出正确答案。

分析:考查固定短语“take photos(拍照)”,故选D。

Recently, the wildfires in California, USA have caught the world’s eye. On January 7, 2025, a fire started near Palisades (帕利塞兹) in western Los Angeles County. Later, the fire 1 quickly eastward because of the strong Santa Ana winds (圣安娜风).

SpoGOMI, made up of “sport” and “gomi” (Japanese for “rubbish”), is a popular competition.

Huang Xuhua passed away at the age of 99 on February 6th, 2025. He is known as the “Father of China’s Nuclear-powered Submarines (核潜艇)”.

Recently, the wildfires in California, USA have caught the world’s eye. On January 7, 2025, a fire started near Palisades (帕利塞兹) in western Los Angeles County. Later, the fire 1 quickly eastward because of the strong Santa Ana winds (圣安娜风).

SpoGOMI, made up of “sport” and “gomi” (Japanese for “rubbish”), is a popular competition.
Japan 1 the first SpoGOMI World Cup successfully in November 2023. Teams from all over the world searched the streets of Tokyo for 2 . Each team of three players had 90 minutes to collect rubbish from a designated (指定的) place while trying to 3 it correctly into color coded bags for each type.

Huang Xuhua passed away at the age of 99 on February 6th, 2025. He is known as the “Father of China’s Nuclear-powered Submarines (核潜艇)”.
