Kenneth, a New York student, invented a special product for Alzheimer's patients inspired by his grandfather's condition. Once his grandfather got lost for a whole day. Worried about his grandfather's safety, Kenneth sought a solution. One night, watching his grandfather get out of bed, he hit upon an idea: a pressure-sensing device in socks. He sketched his idea, figured out the powering method, and created a coin-sized device. When worn by his grandfather, the socks sent an alarm to Kenneth's phone upon sensing pressure, allowing him to know his grandfather was up without staying awake all night. Thus, the socks that easily find the sick were invented.

Mike: Hey, look! I've read about a cool invention in this magazine!
Anna: A pair of socks
Mike: Yes, but they're not ordinary socks. This is a product designed for people with Alzheimer's disease.
Anna: Oh yes, I saw a TV show about that. It was invented by a student from New York called Kenneth. He even won an award for it at a science fair!
Mike: Wow! How did he come up with the idea
Anna: Well, his grandfather has Alzheimer's. He forgets things and gets lost easily. Once he got lost in the city and it took a whole day to find him! The family was always worrying about him leaving the house and had to keep an eye on him - even at night! Kenneth had been trying to find a solution. Then one night, he was looking after his grandfather and saw him get out of bed and step on the floor. That moment inspired him, and a good idea came to his mind.
Mike: I didn't know that! How did that moment inspire him
Anna: Well, it made him think of putting a device into a pair of socks to sense pressure. He started by drawing his ideas, and then he thought about how to power the device. Eventually, he created a device the size of a coin!
Mike: Like a coin So how does it work
Anna: He got his grandfather to wear the socks. When his feet touched the floor, the device sensed an increase of pressure, and a warning was sent to the boy's mobile phone - like an alarm. That way, he could know his grandfather was getting out of bed without staying up all night.
Mike: How amazing! What a useful invention and caring grandson!
Anna: Yes, you are quite right.

Once upon a time, there was an ambitious inventor named Mia. She had a great love for technology and dreamed of creating something that would revolutionize the world. One day, as she was flipping through a book about the history of flight, Mia was captivated by the story of the Wright brothers and their invention of the airplane.
Inspired by their achievements, Mia decided to build her own airplane. She spent countless days and nights in her garage, working tirelessly on her project. She researched various designs, tested different materials, and faced numerous challenges along the way. Her neighbors often wondered what she was up to, but Mia remained focused on her goal.
After many months of perseverance, Mia finally succeeded in creating a small, functional airplane. It wasn't the most sophisticated machine, but it flew! Mia was overjoyed and eager to show off her invention.
On a clear day in 2025, Mia invited her brother, Max, to her garage for a special demonstration. Max was astonished by Mia's creation and couldn't believe that she had built an airplane all by herself. Mia explained that she had been inspired by the Wright brothers and wanted to follow in their footsteps.
Together, Mia and Max took the airplane for a test flight. As they soared through the sky, they felt a sense of freedom and excitement that they had never experienced before. They talked about their adventures and aspirations, and Mia promised to continue refining her invention.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, Mia and Max landed safely back in the garage. They hugged and knew that their bond and shared passion for innovation would lead them to even greater heights in the future.
