born in Scotland in 1736. As a child, he was gifted in the
areas of maths and science.

One day when he was 12 years old, he was sitting in
his family kitchen watching a kettle boiling water. As the
water boiled, the steam made the top of the kettle bounce up
and down. He thought deeply about (what was happening), as

Alexander Graham Bell is one of the most famous inventors in the world.
Born in Scotland in 1847, Bell became a knowledgeable person by learning continuously. After years of experimenting, in the year of 1876, he invented the telephone, which is widely used and has a great influence on our daily life today.
Although the invention of the telephone made Bell wealthy, he never stopped his research. He continued to work and invented a lot of other useful equipment. Moreover, he was also a successful teacher of the deaf.
In 1992, Bell died in Canada. However, his attitude towards science and his love for the deaf still inspire us today.
