On January 28, 2025, a special performance called YangBOT amazed audiences at the CCTV Spring Festival Gala. Directed by famous filmmaker Zhang Yimou, the show mixed traditional Chinese yangko dance with modern robot technology.
In the performance, robots dressed in colorful costumes danced yangko, a joyful folk dance from northern China often seen during festivals. They moved handkerchiefs (手帕) quickly and formed creative group patterns (图案). These robots were developed by Unitree, a Chinese robotics company. This was not Unitree’ s first success—in 2021, their robot cows named “Ben Ben” danced for singer Andy Lau.
The robots learned dance moves through AI and used laser navigation (激光导航) to move safely on the stage. Their strong joints (like knees with 360N·m power) helped them balance perfectly during fast steps. Zhang Yimou explained, “This dance isn’t just fun—it shows how technology can bring new life to traditions.”
Thanks to these innovations, the robots won the hearts of millions. On social media, topics like “RobotYangko” spread quickly. Young viewers called it “cool”, while older audiences loved its humor. In autumn and winter, many streets are covered with fallen leaves. Most people walk past them without noticing. But Kanat Nurtazin, an artist from Kazakhstan, sees something special. He picks up fallen leaves and turns them into beautiful artworks.

To make leaf art, Kanat first picks a leaf from his collection. Then he imagines a fun story or lively moment. He draws it on paper, sticks the paper to the leaf, and lets the glue dry. Next, he uses a razor (剃须刀) to carefully cut out the pattern (图案) on the leaf. Finally, he finds a nice background to take a picture of the leaf. Do you have trouble sleeping at night Many people have this problem. We can train our brain to fall asleep. Sleep expert Michael Grandner offers top three tips.
Make a plan and follow it.
Our body produces melatonin (褪黑素), which helps us know when to sleep and when to wake up. At night, melatonin levels go up, telling us it’s time to sleep. In the morning, melatonin levels drop, helping us wake up.
Melatonin needs to follow a regular schedule. If your bedtime and wake-up time change every day, your body gets confused and doesn’t know when to sleep. So, it’s important to go to bed and wake up at the same time every day, even on weekends.
Don’t stay in bed awake.
This tip is so helpful that it can even work better than sleeping pills. Grandner says, “If you’ve been awake for 20 or 30 minutes, whether at the start of the night or in the middle, get out of bed. You might need just five minutes or maybe an hour to feel sleepy again, but don’t lie in bed waiting.”
Think differently about sleep.
Many people think of sleep as the last thing to do after a busy day. They may stay up late to finish work. This idea needs to change. Grandner says, “Think of sleep as something you need to do well so you can have a better tomorrow. This small change in thinking is very important.”
By following these tips, you can improve your sleep and feel better every day!
62.What does melatonin help your body do
A.It helps your body produce more energy.
B.It helps your body work harder at night.
C.It helps your body stay awake longer.
D.It helps your body know when to sleep and wake up.

A.A plan that changes every day. B.A timetable that you follow every day.
C.A list of things you want to do. D.A time to wake up late on weekends.
64.How should people think of sleep differently
A.Sleep is not as important as other things.
B.Sleep helps you work better the next day.
C.Sleep is something you can miss if you are busy.
D.Sleep is only good for your body, not your mind.
65.What is the main idea of the text
A.Sleep problems can be solved by using medicine.
B.Following good habits can help improve your sleep.
C.Melatonin is the key to understanding sleep problems.
D.Sleep is the least important part of a busy day.
D
Cooking is one of the most important skills for daily life. However, many children today depend too much on their parents. They are used to being looked after in every part of life and cannot do simple things like cooking by themselves.
In order to stress the importance of hard-working spirit education among students, new guidelines have been introduced. The guidelines call for students to respect labor (劳动) work. Students should learn basic life skills and develop good working habits through such education.
Students will be required to understand and master the basics of home cooking from preparing vegetables to finally being able to complete the whole process (过程) of home cooking independently. These will be lifelong skills for kids, helping them develop into well-rounded individuals (个体) not just students who are able to take exams.
As children’s first teachers, parents should also encourage children to learn how to do chores at home. Students should master one or two life skills every year. These skills can include cooking, washing their own clothes and tidying their rooms.
It’s really important for students to take labor education both at school and at home.

【原文】
(M) Hello, everyone. I’m very happy to meet all of you on such a rainy day. I’d like to show you how to become confident.
Our bodies can show our feelings. We can learn some skills to show confidence through body language. First, we usually stand and walk in a certain way when we’re nervous, so we should stand up straight. We should push our shoulders back when standing and walking. Second, we should take wide steps when walking. Third, we usually put our hands in our pockets when we’re not comfortable or not sure of ourselves, so we should keep our hands out of our pockets. Fourth, smile. Confident people smile because they have nothing to worry about. When we smile at others as we pass them on the street, they’ll probably smile back. With a little practice, we can always appear confident.
