2. to analyze the genre and structure of the text;
3. To cultivate a positive attitude towards suffering and raise the awareness of living in harmony with nature.
Learning objectives
It occurs every year.
The more slowly it moves, the more damage it might cause.
It is the only weather disaster that has been given its own name.
It begins life in a warm moist atmosphere over tropical ocean waters.
The term of this disaster comes from a Taino Native American word, meaning evil spirit of the wind.

3. It lasted more than one week.
4. Over 1,800 people lost their lives in the hurricane.
5. It caused USD 108 billion in damage.
