英语句子中的一个重读音节与其后若干非重读音节组成一个节奏组,即一拍。英语节奏有重音等时的特点,即两个重读音节中的间隔时长大致相同。因此若两个重读音节间所包含的非重读音节少,则重读音节的元音就得读得比较慢,若所包含的非重读音节多,则重读音节的元音读得会相对短些,同时非重读音节读得更快。
