Should We Welcome Companion Robots
With the development of artificial intelligence,a new type of
companion robot has been invented,which can communicate
like humans.
On the one hand,some people say that such robots are of
great benefit 'to us. For example,if an old man lives alone, a
companion robot can give him a lot of comfort. In addition,

the robot can monitor the elderly person's health condition,
and if there are potential dangers,not only will he get in
touch with the person's family but he will also automatically
give out a warning. However,on the other hand,some people
oppose the use of the technology. They argue that some
people use the technology to avoid social contact. Hence, the
gap between people is more difficult to bridge.
