学情分析
本本单元是人教版英语(三年级起点)五年级下册第四单元,本单元学习的主题是寻找动物的主人,学习六个名词性物主代词和六个动词现在分词形式。五年级学生经历了两年多的英语学习,已经积累了一定的英语知识,掌握了一定的句型表达。学生在三四年级已经学过的形容词性物主代词:my, your, his, her等;名词性物主代词:yours, mine。对本课中心句Are these/those... Yes,they are./No,they aren’t.已经较熟悉了。但是由于年龄的增长,更多的学生变得“内向”,举手也没有之前积极,学生们更加关注学习的知识内容是否有趣、有意义。因此学生们更喜欢有梯度式的学习目标,有挑战性的学习内容,和有趣味性的学习活动,在教学本单元时应以旧带新,滚动学习,了解核心词汇与句型出现的语用环境,引导学生学会欣赏大自然美好的风景,培养学生爱护动物的意识,营造人与自然,人与动物,人与社会友好共处的氛围。
二、单元整体设计思路
围绕单元主题,深挖各课时话题。本单元要学习的核心词汇mine, yours, his, hers, theirs, ours等名词性物主代词及sleeping, jumping,eating,climbing,drinking, playing等现在分词。在单元主题意义的引领下,以“Love animals” 为主题,教师创设贴近学生学习生活的真实情境,设计层层深入的教学活动,谈论物品所属及动词进行时的英语表达方式。语篇核心词汇核心句型学习内容学习时长学习目标A talkmine, yours, his, hers, theirs, oursA: -Whose _____ is this -It's _____! 三、单元整体学习目标
知识与能力目标 学生能够熟练掌握与动物相关的词汇,如:dog, cat, rabbit, monkey, elephant, panda, tiger, lion 等,以及描述动物特征的形容词,如:cute, lovely, strong, big, small, fat, thin 等。理解并能正确运用句型 “Whose... is it It's...”“Whose... are they They're...” 来询问和回答物品所属关系,重点掌握关于动物的所属表达。学会用现在进行时 “be + 动词 ing” 描述动物正在进行的动作,如:The dog is running. The cat is sleeping. 等,并理解其含义和用法。能够听懂关于动物所属和动物行为的简单对话,并获取关键信息。能够用英语流利地询问和介绍动物的所属以及描述动物正在做的事情,提高口语表达能力。
情感态度、文化意识、学习策略目标 引导学生关爱动物,尊重动物的生命和习性,培养学生的爱心和同情心。通过小组合作学习活动,如小组合作制作动物海报等,增强学生的团队合作意识和交流沟通能力,培养学生的创造力和审美能力。让学生在学习过程中感受英语在描述动物世界中的实用性,提高学生学习英语的兴趣和积极性3.培养学生的阅读理解能力,使其能够读懂简单的关于动物故事或介绍的短文。4.提升学生的写作能力,让学生能够根据要求写出关于动物的短文,包括动物的外貌、所属和行为等

语篇研读(附图)
本节课是对话篇, 本课时的主题意义是通过Sam去Chen Jie 家做客,谈论起Chen Jie家的狗Fido,并询问Fido 去了哪里,他喝水了吗 表达Sam对Fido的关爱之情。让学生感知本节课句型的语义及语用情景。要求学生在语境中能用现在进行时陈述句句型: -主语+be +v-ing,或一般疑问句句型:Be +主语+v-ing 谈论正在发生的动作。
