不定式在句中可作主语、表语、宾语、定语、状语、宾语补足语等。
1. 不定式可作主语。如:
To do morning exercise every day is good for our health.
不定式作主语时, 往往用it作形式主语, 而把不定式后置,即: It + be +形容词/名词/介词短语+不定式;It +动词+宾语+不定式。如:
It is important for us to wear the safety belt when driving a car.
