Think about that if you are criticized (批评) for doing something wrong, how would you feel
Much like artists turn something useless into something useful, you can learn to get some useful experience
from criticism.
For most of us, the mistake is to consider criticism as a bad thing. That leads us to close our minds and look
down upon what others said. But the problem is that the truth is often hidden behind it. No matter how smart you
are and how hard you work, there is always room for you to improve.
Some criticism may be wrong. But even in these cases, it’s valuable because it helps you see your actions
through another point. Learning from such criticism requires the ability to make feelings work for you, instead of
being against with you. You can turn negative feedback (负面回馈) into something useful by asking yourself the
following questions:
● Putting my personal feelings aside, what can I learn from this person’s criticism
● How can I use this feedback to help me improve
62. How did the writer start the passage
A. By listing a fact. B. By telling a story. C. By giving a reason. D. By asking a question.
63. Why is some wrong criticism valuable
A. Because it can leads us to close our minds.
B. Because we can get some useful experience from it.
C. Because it can help us to see our actions in another way.
D. Because it can help us to realize how smart we are.
64. What’s the writer’s opinion on criticism
A. He thinks criticism is a bad thing.
B. He thinks all the criticism is right
C. He thinks all the criticism is wrong and useless.
D. He thinks we can turn it into something useful.

Booking a museum ticket this past summer was not easy. Visitors often found that tickets for the following
week had been fully booked. Across China, museum halls were filled with visitors during the summer vacation. To
many museums, such crowds had not often been seen before. So, what was behind this “museum craze (狂热)”
Part of the reason is a growing interest in traditional Chinese culture, according to Guo Sike, leader of the
Confucius Museum in Shandong province.
“Nowadays, young Chinese love traditional Chinese culture,” said Guo. He added that modern technologies
have also played a role. They allow people to experience traditional culture in more ways.
The Shaanxi History Museum in the city of Xi’an also saw an increase in visitors. The museum can only allow
12,000 people to visit each day. Its ticket booking app, however, received more than 600,000 clicks a day. To solve
the problem, the museum called off its Monday rest. It was also open for more hours on Sundays.
Popular study tours also helped bring more people to museums. The Confucius Museum saw many of these
tours. In Xi’an, the Qinqiang Opera was a popular subject of study tours. Local museums offered chances to learn
the culture.
“Museums are bridges. They connect the past, present and future,” said Yang Chaoming, a professor at
Shandong University. “More and more people wish to better learn about traditional Chinese culture through
museum visits.”
65. What can we know according to Guo Sike
A. The Confucius Museum is playing an important role. B. Modern technologies can greatly help to book tickets.
C. More and more Chinese enjoy our traditional culture. D. The Qinqiang Opera is a popular subject of study tours.

All around the world buildings are going green! People are making green buildings. What does it mean to go
green or to make a green building A green building is designed (设计) in a way that is not harmful to the
environment. The building uses energy, water, and other materials in ways that are good for the environment.
When planning green buildings, architects (建筑师) must think about how to use energy, water, and materials
in an environment-friendly way. There are many ways to save energy. Architects can design buildings to use
natural light. Buildings can also be made with solar or wind power to get energy from the sun or the wind. To save
water, green buildings can have areas on the roofs to collect rainwater. Kitchens and bathrooms can have sinks (洗
涤池) and toilets that conserve water. As for the materials used to build the building, it is important to use materials
that do not have chemicals that are harmful to the air or water. Recycled materials can also be used for buildings.
Buildings around the world use all three of these ways to go green. An office building called CH2 in
Melbourne, Australia, uses wind and solar power. A cultural center in London, England, is made from recycled
train cars and is powered by solar and wind power. A temple in Thailand is made out of one million recycled glass
bottles! This is a good use of recycled materials, and it also lets natural light into the temple.
More and more green buildings are being built and they are making the world a better place!

The past three years in junior high school have passed quickly. As graduation (毕业) comes near, my
classmates and I think about the happy times, hard work, and changes we experienced together.
When we first came to this school, everything was new and strange. The classrooms felt big, and the teachers
seemed strict. But later, we found happiness in many things: working together on group tasks, cheering loudly on
sports days, and showing our talents (天赋) during school art shows.
There were also difficult times. We felt nervous before exams and sometimes doubted ourselves. But our
teachers and friends always helped us. Our math teacher, Mr. Li, often said, “Mistakes show you’re learning,” and
these words gave us courage.
Now, saying goodbye brings both smiles and tears. We will miss morning meetings with the national flag,
eating lunch with friends, and even the school rules. But we’re also looking forward to the future—some will go to
high school, some will learn skills, and others will follow their dreams.
Junior high school taught us not only books but also friendship, strength, and hope. Though we may go
different ways, these three years will stay in our hearts forever.

teacher in class and my grades were poor.
The cause of the problem was that I didn’t pay enough attention in class and didn’t do enough practice after
class. To solve it, I decided to change my study habits. I started to listen carefully in class, take notes, and ask
questions when I didn’t understand. After class, I did a lot of exercises and reviewed the knowledge regularly. I
also asked my teacher and classmates for help when I needed it.
Remember, every problem is an opportunity to learn and grow. With the right attitude and actions, we can
overcome any difficulty.
