形容词、副词的比较级和最高级
1.形容词和副词的比较级和最高级的构成：
一般在词尾加 ________ ________；
以字母“e”结尾的词，在词尾加 ________ ________；
以重读闭音节结尾，且末尾只有一个辅音字母时，先 ________，再加上 ________ ________；
以“辅音字母+y”结尾的双音节词，先 ________，再加上 ________ ________；
部分双音节词或多音节词，在词前加 ________ ________；
不规则变化。
2.比较级的用法
(1)表示两者比较时，常用连词than连接。
Sam is taller than Tom.萨姆比汤姆高。
(2)形容词的比较级可以用much、a lot、far(……得多)、a little、a bit(一点儿)、even(甚至)、still(仍然)等表示程度的词修饰，用以加强语气。
You look a little thinner than last year.你看起来比去年稍瘦些。
(3)表示“大几岁”“长几米”之类的比较时，用“数量词+比较级+than”。
I am two years older than my brother.我比我弟弟大两岁。
(4)“比较级+and+比较级”表示“越来越……”；加more构成比较级的形容词则用“more and more+形容词”表示“越来越……”。
The fresh water is becoming less and less.淡水越来越少了。
Our country is becoming more and more beautiful.我们的国家正变得越来越美丽。
(5)“the+比较级…, the+比较级…”表示“越……就越……”。
The more vegetables you eat, the healthier you will be.
你吃的蔬菜越多，你就会越健康。
(6)“the+比较级+of the two”表示“两个中比较……的”。
The blue sweater is the cheaper of the two.这件蓝色的毛衣是两件中比较便宜的。
(7)“比较级+than any other+单数名词”表示“比任何其他的……都……”。
Tom is taller than any other boy in his class.汤姆比班里其他任何一个男孩都高。
3.最高级的用法
(1)形容词最高级用于三者或三者以上的人或事物的比较，意为“最……”，其前通常要加the，句型中常用of、in或among表示比较范围。
Jim is the shortest boy of us.吉姆是我们当中最矮的男孩。
(2)当形容词最高级前有物主代词、指示代词或名词所有格修饰时，最高级前不用定冠词the。
Miss Hu is our best teacher. 胡老师是我们最好的老师。
(3)“one of+the+形容词最高级+名词复数+in/of短语”表示“最……的……之一”。
Miss Gao is one of the most popular teachers in our school.
高老师是我们学校最受欢迎的老师之一。
(4)“the+序数词+形容词最高级+单数名词+in…”表示“第……最……”。
The Yellow River is the second longest river in China.黄河是中国第二长河。
(5)形容词最高级可以用于选择疑问句中，句型为“Who/Which …, A, B or C ”。

4.原级的用法
(1)“A is as+原级+as+B.”表示“A与B一样……”
He is as tall as me.他和我一样高。
(2)“A is not as/so+原级+as B.”表示“A不如B……”
He is not as tall as me.他不如我高。
(3)只能修饰原级的词有very、quite、so、too、enough、pretty等。
He is too tired to walk on.他太累了,不能再继续走了。
