作文 Tsinghua University has opened an AI Hospital to improve healthcare through technology. By using the Zijing AI Doctor, it can diagnose 300+ diseases with 93% accuracy, especially helping rural areas with fewer doctors.
The AI works 100 times faster in virtual training and supports human doctors in checking symptoms and treatments. However, doctors' empathy remains irreplaceable according to Dean Wong.
In my view, AI hospitals make medical services quicker and cheaper. Although some worry about privacy, strict data protection gives me confidence. I believe combining AI with human care will create a healthier future.
Slowly, things changed between us. We started sharing study strategies instead of just going through the materials. Ethan began to open up, telling me about his dreams of becoming an engineer despite his family’s hardships. We’d take short breaks during study sessions, chatting about our favorite music and movies, and his rare smiles made me realize he was just a normal teenager buried under stress. We even formed a routine where I’d help him with history and English, while he’d assist me with the tricky math and chemistry problems. His unique way of solving math equations inspired me, and I found myself understanding concepts I’d struggled with for weeks.
On results day, we were amazed by our scores. Ethan passed all his subjects with flying colors, and his improvement in math and chemistry was remarkable. To my surprise, I also saw a significant jump in my grades, especially in the subjects he’d helped me with. Mrs. Jenkins beamed at us proudly. Ethan’s eyes sparkled with joy as he thanked me, but I knew that we’d helped each other. After that, we remained close friends. Our study partnership taught me that sometimes, sharing our burdens doesn’t mean losing; instead, it leads to unexpected growth and beautiful friendships.2025届高三适应性训练(四)

“Living out of a suitcase” means you can fit your life into just a few bags and you don’t own or rent a long-term apartment. Essentially, you’re a nomad (流浪者). When I was fourteen years old, my mom had the idea of dropping everything to travel the world and create a closer connection between family members. Although I absolutely loved the idea, I couldn’t imagine leaving my friends, school, and all my “stuff” behind to travel the world full-time with my family.
To my surprise, during the travel, we have learned the most important moments are when we live happy moments with our family and friends. As we travel, we barely carry anything with us except the essential things like clothes, a laptop, notebooks, and toiletries (洗漱用品). We each carry a backpack and all five of us share two suitcases for clothes. After buying new souvenirs or new clothes, we give some of our old outfits away to people in need and it makes us so happy to be able to give back wherever we can.
At the beginning, it was difficult for us to get used to never having a closet (衣橱), constantly changing hotel rooms, and never fully unpacking before we were back on the road. But over time we have learned to appreciate the value of having less — the freedom to live for experiences and the joy of traveling “light” in mind, body, and spirit. Many of the wonderful new friends we have made on our journey have opened our eyes to how lucky we are. We have met families in many parts of the world who live in small homes with no running water, yet they always have huge smiles and are willing to share with us.
We now know that experiences and memories are the most valuable things in life and that they can only be acquired when we let go of our need for possessions and focus on what really matters in life — enjoying our lives each day with the people we love.
24. Why did the author’s mom decide to travel the world
A. To build stronger family bonds. B. To escape their current life.
C. To enrich their travel experiences. D. To ease the work pressure.
25. What was the author’s initial feeling about the idea of traveling the world
A. Annoyed and fearful. B. Confused but hopeful.
C. Pleased and excited. D. Interested but doubtful.
26. What did the family do with their old clothes after acquiring new ones
A. They directly threw them away. B. They kept them as souvenirs.
C. They donated them to people in need. D. They exchanged them with local residents.
27. What can be inferred from the last paragraph
A. We should let go of every single possession.
B. Material wealth and possessions bring happiness.
C. Material possessions should not be our ultimate goal.
D. The family used to place too much emphasis on wealth.
While we aim to avoid any appearance of baseless theories, it is noteworthy to observe the long-standing practice of putting magnets (磁铁) in cows, a phenomenon that has been carefully unfolding for years. Why are farmers putting magnets in cows
Known as cow magnets, the devices are placed inside cattle to deal with “hardware disease”. Hardware Disease occurs after an animal eats a metallic object that then makes a hole in the wall of the reticulum, the second stomach room in ruminant animals (反刍动物). This issue arises from the natural eating behaviors of these ruminants, similar to a person at an unlimited food event — quickly and eagerly large bites without sufficient chewing. This fast-paced feeding approach makes them tend to unintentionally consume metal pieces in their food, including broken farm machinery parts, nails and wires used in fencing, for instance.
Metal objects entering the reticulum may result in infections, increased body temperatures, digestive problems, and unease for the animals. To address hardware disease, the main strategy is to prevent metal from entering the cattle’s diet. Farmers have also adopted the method of placing cow magnets into the stomach using either a stomach tube or a balling gun. The cow magnet attracts such objects and prevents them from becoming fixed in the animal’s tissue. These magnets, once positioned, remain within the animals throughout their lifespan, only being removed after death when the cows pass away or are processed for meat.
Moseley, a Veterinary Medicine professor, states in a hardware disease resource, “The magnet gathers foreign metallic objects, reducing the risk of making a hole in the reticulum.” Research shows a mild magnetic field affects a cow’s small blood pathways, improving circulation and aiding recovery without significant impact on the cow or milk quality.
8. Why are magnets fed to cows
A. To change feeding habits. B. To prevent hardware disease.
C. To improve the milk quality. D. To enhance digestive system.
9. What is the main cause of hardware disease in ruminant animals
A. Eating without chewing. B. Taking magnets by mistake.
C. Sufficient chewing hard food. D. Swallowing metals accidentally.
10. What is the author’s purpose in writing the passage
A. To describe the historical practice of putting magnets in cows.
B. To deny the adoption of cow magnets to enhance cattle health.
C. To discuss the influence of a mild magnetic field on milk quality.
D. To explain the reason for using magnets to prevent hardware disease.
11. What might be a logical continuation of the passage
A. Exploring more potential benefits of cow magnets.
B. Investigating the broader applications of magnets.
C. Discussing the alternative methods of caring for cows.
D. Evaluating the long-term effects of magnets on animals.
Soratobu Medaka, a children’s book, tells the story of tiny medaka fish riding on a bird to a distant pond. It has delighted children, but now it’s revealed to be true.
Researchers have long struggled to explain how fish turn up in lakes far from other bodies of water, a mystery even Charles Darwin noted in 1859, when he suggested that aquatic (水生的) hatchlings might stick to the feet of birds, though his bright idea remained a theory.
In 2019, Yao Akifumi, a biology student then, wondered if Darwin might have been right and further wondered if fish-hunting birds might transport egg-bearing aquatic plants stuck to their feet. To test this, he set up two ponds one metre apart, one containing 36plants and the other without, both equipped with camera traps. After six months, some plants had switched ponds, and one camera captured a bird flying away with a plant on its foot. Next, Yao aimed to see if fish eggs could weather the journey being carried out of water. He attached tiny medaka eggs to aquatic plants and removed them for zero to 24hours—at favorable hatching conditions — before returning them.
In a paper in Science of Nature, Mr. Yao reports that the medaka eggs can successfully hatch after up to 18 hours out of the water. Eggs without a plant leaf to attach to rarely survived a few hours. The big drop in survival was at 16.3 hours, when half the eggs became lifeless.
Whether any egg could survive that long, given that a bird’s average flight-speed is around 39kph, is doubtful, says Mr Yao, since wind exposure during such a long journey would dry them out.
Shorter journeys, however, are certainly possible. And since many other medaka-like species are found throughout Asia, the chances are high that hitchhiking (搭便车) explains how they have ended up in lakes with seemingly no connection to other water bodies. Yet again, it would seem, Darwin’s theories turn out to be correct.
32. Why does the author mention Darwin’s idea
A. To introduce an academic term. B. To provide research background.
C. To question a well-known theory. D. To explore new research methods.
33. What evidence did Yao find to support his assumption
A. Birds flying between ponds. B. Fish eggs surviving on plants.
C. A plant growing in both ponds. D. A bird carrying a plant on its foot.
34. What may increase medaka eggs’ survival
A. Birds’ flying route. B. Wind exposure.
C. Supporting leaves. D. Longer journeys.
35. What is the main idea of the text
A. Children’s book inspires research. B. Origin of fish has been uncovered.
C. Fish’s hitch riding has been proven. D. Eggs and plants have a close relation.

As class monitor, I was used to organizing group work, not helping students alone. One cold October afternoon, Mrs. Jenkins asked me to stay after class. Her usual smile was gone. “Ethan Miller joined us last month,” she said quietly. “His family is going through hard times. His parents work two jobs day and night to make ends meet. He’s failing classes and... stays silent, avoiding everyone.” She looked at me. “Will you help him You might be the only one he’ll talk to.”
I froze, holding my books tightly. The final exams were six weeks away, and my own grades had stopped improving. Even after staying up late studying math, my test scores stayed the same. My parents’ worried faces came to mind. Helping Ethan meant losing precious exam preparation time, but I couldn’t say no. “I’ll try,” I said weakly, though I felt uneasy — what if this hurt us both
Ethan was like a shadow in class. He sat at the back, head down, writing notes but never speaking. At lunch, he ate alone by the lockers. When I first greeted him, he only nodded. After three failed tries to chat, I grew impatient. “We’ll prepare for final exams together after school,” I said firmly, using my role as monitor. He stayed silent but didn’t refuse.
Our first study meeting was awkward. I opened my textbooks at the library table while Ethan sat rigidly, staring at his old shoes. I repeated history facts and science notes like a machine; he copied them quietly. During our third session, I explained a chemistry problem but made a mistake. Ethan pointed at my paper. “This number is wrong,” he said softly. I checked — he was right. “How did you know ” I asked, surprised. He paused. “I reviewed the chapter last night... didn’t want to waste your time.” For the first time, I saw the tiredness in his eyes — just like mine from late-night studying.
