Do you know about triangles (三角形) A triangle is a shape which has three straight sides. We learn this beautiful shape in math. In fact, you can find many things in the shape of triangles around us, such as sandwiches.
Triangles are useful in our daily life. For example, we use lots of triangles when we build bridges. People and cars go across the bridge. The bridge carries a lot of weight. They are also useful for heavy buildings. Think about the Eiffel Tower in France, standing at 324 meters tall. What shape do you see there Yes! You see triangles. Why do people use triangles to build heavy and tall buildings It’s not an accident. Each of the three sides supports the other two, so a triangle will not change shape unless its sides are broken. A triangle can bear weight and is not easy to change, so it can hold a lot of weight. It can keep its shape over time and give support to these buildings to stay standing for years to come.
Are triangles always useful If there is a big earthquake, what do you do Hide under a table or in the toilet Someone says people should stay next to a tall and heavy thing. When the ceilings (天花板) falls on that thing, they will make a triangle-shaped space for people to stay in. He calls it the “Triangle of life”. However, some scientists don’t agree with him. They believe that it’s difficult to know where the triangles will be, because things move during earthquakes. Also, it’s not safe to stay next to heavy things. Studies show heavy things falling kills more people than ceilings do. When considering the use of triangles, we should also think about the conditions.
After all, we should make good use of triangles, maybe just little things. Think about the last time you stood on a moving bus. Did you stand with your feet apart (分开) Then, you just made yourself a triangle!

C.Because it is hard to find a tall and heavy thing to make a “Triangle of life” place.
D.Because things move during earthquakes and it is difficult to find a “Triangle of life” place.
71.Which of the following shows the structure of the passage
A. B. C. D.

There are several ways to create a photograph. The most common photographs are made using a camera. 73 Like the eye, the camera takes in rays(光线) of light reflected from a subject. It then focuses the rays into an image. 74 Newer cameras record the image on an electronic storage device(存储设备) such as a memory card. Once the image is recorded, it can be seen and enjoyed by many people.
When using a camera, the photographic process needs care and patience. Creating great printed photographs by using older cameras requires five steps①finding a subject, ② focusing on the subject, ③ allowing light onto the film(胶片), ④developing the film, and⑤producing the photograph. 75 They use a room called a darkroom. It’s “dark” so that light doesn’t completely destroy the negatives.
76 Through photographs we can learn about other parts of the world and see how people live. We can also imagine what life was like in other time periods since the mid-1800s, when the camera was invented. Special cameras can record images in places most human beings can’t go, like planets far away or deep oceans. But, best of all, photographs remind us of the special people and special times in our lives. 77 For them, the photographs they take are priceless.
A.Older cameras record the image on film.
B.All the steps should be taken with great care.
C.People need to make good use of the cameras.
D.In many ways, a camera works like a human eye.

How to Deal with the Exam Stress
As a middle school student, we all face the problem of exam stress. Many of us worry too much before tests, find it hard to fall asleep at night, and may even perform poorly during exams because of nervousness. In my opinion, to deal with the exam stress, we’d better plan and prepare well. There are ways to manage this stress effectively.
First, study preparation is important. Make a clear study plan and focus on key points instead of trying to learn everything at once. Doing practice tests can also help you feel more confident.
Second, keep a good daily routine. Getting 7~8 hours of sleep every night keeps your mind sharp. Avoid staying up late before the exam so you won’t feel tired the next day.
Finally, find ways to relax. Taking deep breaths before the test can calm your nerves. Listening to light music or taking a short walk during breaks also helps reduce stress.
By following these tips, you can face exams with less anxiety and do your best!
