一.阅读理解(共20小题)
1.(2025 2月份模拟) Past research has shown the negative effects of too much sugar intake on health, which has informed recommendations to limit consumption of"free"or added sugar to less than10% of a person's daily caloric intake.
Still, researchers in China and the United States felt that before developing detailed policies for sugar restriction, the quality of existing evidence needs to be comprehensively evaluated, according to a study published in the journal The BMJ.
In a big study that looked at 73 reviews and 8,601 smaller studies, eating a lot of added sugar was linked to a much higher chance of 45 bad health problems, including diabetes(糖尿病),obesity, high blood pressure, heart attack, cancer, depression, and early death.
Free sugars are those added during the processing of foods, packaged as table sugar, and naturally occurring in honey, fruit juice, vegetable juice and similar products in which the cellular(细胞的) structure of the food has been broken down, according to the FDA.This category does not include sugars naturally occurring in dairy or structurally whole fruits and vegetables.
"Whole food carbohydrates(碳水化合物) take longer to break down into simple sugars,"said Dr.Maya Adam,a professor at Stanford University School of Medicine."This means that whole grains don't cause the same increases in blood sugar that we experience when we eat simple sugars.Blood sugar increases are the basic cause of health problems in the long run."
The findings suggest people should circumscribe free sugar intake to less than 25 grams per day. There are some changes you can make.Be aware of what you're putting in your body by reading nutrition labels when shopping—even the ones on foods you might not think of as sweet, such as bread and yogurts. These foods usually have lots of added sugar, and it adds up,Adam said.
Cooking and baking at home more often is one of the best ways to reduce sugar intake, said Brooke Aggarwal,a professor at Columbia University Irving Medical Center.Getting enough good﹣quality sleep on a regular basis would also help"as we tend to choose foods higher in sugar when we're tired,"she added.
All in all,we should cut back on our consumption of added sugar to less than 10% of a person's daily caloric intake. After all, eating too much "free sugar"has many negative health effects.
(1)What needs to be done before making detailed policies to restrict sugar?
A.Make a detailed category.
B.Investigate the sugar market.
C.Check the existing evidence.
D.Monitor products containing sugar.
(2)What can be inferred from Dr.Maya Adam's words in paragraph 5?
A.Whole grains are more nutritious.
B.Whole food carbohydrates don't break.
C.The rise of blood sugar is a long process.
D.Simple sugars raise blood sugar rapidly.
(3)What does the underlined word"circumscribe"in paragraph 6 mean?
A.Limit.
B.Increase.
C.Ignore.
D.Promote.
(4)What is the author's attitude to the consumption of added sugar?
A.Supportive.
B.Critical.
C.Doubtful.
D.Cautious.
2.(2025 2月份模拟) The fish that Weiwei Li checked on every morning had spent an unusual night.Their small fish tank was lit by LED lights of a single wavelength—iridescent blue, rusty red,or a tangerine orange.
This artificial light replaced what would have been darkness had the fish lived in the wild,in rivers or lakes, someplace away from human settlements. As a behavioral ecologist,Li is interested in how certain kinds of artificial light affect the health of fish.
Her results were concerning. At the conclusion of the study,Li and colleagues found that not only do artificial lights at night cause what they consider"anxiety﹣like"behavior in zebrafish, this behavior is passed down to their offspring(后代),even when the offspring are born into an environment with natural light."And we found extremely strong and clear negative effects on the behavior of fish and their offspring after only a few bright nights."
The study chose zebrafish because they have very good light sensors. They have seven light sensors that can see a wide range of light. But Li and colleagues found that the fish were particularly disturbed by artificial blue light. After four nights spent under the lights the zebrafish began to hug the walls of their observation tank. They were sleepy, swimming less and covering only short distances.
Light pollution from urban developments has been a major problem for organisms living in exposed lakes and rivers for more than a century.Even some marine(海洋的) life has been affected. One solution to the light pollution problem is to use"spectral tuning(光谱调谐)"一the cutting out of some of the more damaging wavelengths,in favor of softer light—when designing lighting for urban areas."But it only solves part of the problem because different organisms are often affected by different wavelengths of light,"Weiwei Li said.So less artificial light could help fish have a better future, for generations to come.

3.(2024秋 湖南期末) President Chapman found it hard to take the alien(外星人) representative seriously. It was black and made of mist.It flowed around one end of the conference room table where a red bowl of dandelions(蒲公英) sat.The aliens had requested dandelions be provided at the meeting while their ship remained in high Earth orbit.
"And Earth is a rest stop for your people?"
"Yes.It makes a fine place to stop off and refill our food reserves, get out and stretch,so to speak. We planted dandelions here as a food source…"
"Our conversation is getting sidetracked. We're here to discuss the idea that humanity will be removed from Earth. You cannot simply wipe out an entire race of beings."
"You were never intended to inhabit(栖居) this world.Your presence, and the mess you've made of it,has stopped the development of its own native intelligence.Honestly,we should have intervened sooner."
The president pounded the table."For the last time, dolphins are not intelligent enough to rule this planet."
The mist sighed."Look,I'm sorry.I know this must be hard for you.But you're a mistake.A…random accident.A…a…"

"Precisely.Think of yourselves as like those furry creatures you keep in your homes. The ones with four legs. The ones that﹣"
"Yes,dogs,I get it."
"Right, dogs. You wouldn't let a dog run a planet, would you? When it chews up your furnishings, how do you correct it?"
"Hit it on the nose and say"bad dog'."
"Well, there you go.We're simply correcting a naughty pet as you would."

5.(2025 四会市模拟)Does adversity(逆境)warm hearts or harden them?Recently,my graduate student Daniel and I set out to explore the relationship between adversity and compassion(同情).
We conducted a study online and reached more than 200 people from all walks of life. After asking them about the hardships they faced and how often they experienced compassion,we offered them the chance to donate some of the money they were about to be paid for taking part in the study to help people in need. The result showed that those who had faced serious adversities in life feel more compassion for suffering people. And as a result, they donated more money.
Now,if experiencing any type of hardship can make a person more compassionate, you might assume that the compassion would be reached when someone has experienced the exact misfortune that another person is facing.Interestingly, this turns out to be dead wrong.
In an article recently published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, the Kellogg School of Management professor Loran Nordgren and his team found that the human mind refuses to work as usual when it comes to remembering its own past hardships:it regularly makes them appear to be less painful than they actually were. Therefore, recalling a bad experience in your own past may make you underestimate(低估)the difficulty of others' challenges. You overcame it,you think;so should he.The result? You lack compassion.
Our findings, taken together with those of Professor Nordgren and his team, are that living through hardships doesn't either warm hearts or harden them;it does both.Knowing suffering in life usually enhances the compassion we feel for others, except when the suffering involves specific painful events that we know all too well.

6.(2025 辽宁模拟) In many regions of the world, windows can be a mixed blessing. On the one hand, windows brighten a room, and give occupants a view of the world beyond, and on the other band, they also let in a huge amount of heat from the sun.
In fact,87 percent of heat gain in a given space comes through its windows. This is because UV radiation (紫外辐射) passes through glass easily. To keep out the heat, people use window coverings like blinds, but that also blocks the view.
A recent study from the University of Notre Dame indicates that soon people who love a view﹣but hate the heat﹣will be able to have it both ways.Though not yet scaled up (扩大生产) to market, the study presents a new window coating that could let in sunlight and keep out the heat.
Window films and heat﹣blocking coatings are not a new concept. In fact, the authors of the study themselves pioneered an innovative glass coating in 2020.So what is so exciting about their new 2024 coating? It's all about the angles.
Tengfei Luo,lead author of the study told Notre Dame News, "The angle between the sunshine and your window is always changing. Our coating maintains functionality and efficiency whatever the sun's position in the sky." In order to figure out the way to create a better window coating, the researchers used a quantum (量子) computing assisted AI machine﹣learning model, which helped to find out the correct combination of elements they would need to create an effective coating.
Using the information, the researchers designed a coating that could selectively transmit and reflect light over a wide range of angles. That is to say,it can keep a room cool at any given hour of the day, regardless of the angle that the sunlight is hitting the window.
There are endless numbers of practical applications for this new window coating, from commercial use to residential use,and even for use in the automotive industry.

8.(2025 天河区模拟) When I was a kid,I hated reading until eighth grade, when my mom said, "You are going to do your reading with me,from now on."
It was my first experience of being led through challenging books with an expert guide.Every few pages,Mom would stop and ask me questions that challenged my thinking about the text, drew me deeper into its themes and created a space to ask my own questions. And this is how I came to love reading—and came to be a professor of classic literature.
Most of my students who hate reading don't have mothers like mine. And one﹣to﹣one tutorial is impossible in my mid﹣sized university. But recently,in a conversation with a friend about ways AI might make museums dynamic and interactive,I thought about books. What if Al﹣enabled chat windows could be introduced in a text and offer a site of real﹣time conversation about it with someone as smart as my mom?
Then I started creating Rebind,an e﹣reading platform.I dictated 30 hours of answers to nearly 1,200 questions about Thoreau's Walden and asked another 1,000 reader﹣interesting questions. The work was dull:just me talking into my recorder. Then it struck me that being interviewed about the book might make it pleasant, meaningful and, most importantly, dynamic. So I invited Michael Goodwin,a Thoreau expert,to ask me questions. It worked.Michael, playing an inquisitive student, drew out insights I didn't even know I had.
This led to a key idea:if AI platforms use real conversations, about meaningful subjects,as their training ground, users are more likely to have rich, simulated(模拟的)conversations about such subjects.I tested this by interviewing the prizewinner JohnBanville about James Joyce's Dubliners, and the results were remarkable. The conversations in the e﹣reader sounded like, and reacted like, the conversations between Banville and myself.
I'd like everyone to love reading and use AI in ways that aren't meaningless or disappointing. In my heart, like my mother,I'm a teacher, and I believe this is one of the great teachable moments of our time.

9.(2025 广东一模) The woolly mammoth is one of the most iconic animals of the prehistoric era,yet it remains shrouded in mystery.Often depicted as slow, clumsy, and ill﹣suited to its environment,a new wave of research is challenging these long﹣held assumptions.
The woolly mammoth,a massive herbivore with long, curved tusks, roamed the icy landscapes of Eurasia and North America during the Ice Age.These colossal creatures stood up to 11 feet tall and weighed as much as 6 tons, making them larger than modern elephants. They subsisted on a diet of grasses, shrubs, and other vegetation, using their tusks to dig through snow and ice to reach food.
Due to the scarcity of well﹣preserved mammoth remains, scientists have had limited opportunities to study these ancient beasts. However, recent advancements in paleontology and genetics have allowed researchers to piece together a more accurate picture of their lives.By analyzing ancient DNA and fossilized footprints, scientists have discovered that woolly mammoths were far more agile and adaptable than previously thought.
One of the most significant findings is that woolly mammoths had strong, flexible tendons in their legs, which enabled them to move swiftly across the frozen terrain.Fossil evidence also suggests that they lived in complex social groups, similar to modern elephants, and had highly developed survival strategies to endure the harsh Ice Age conditions.
Woolly mammoths went extinct around 4,000 years ago, likely due to a combination of climate change and human hunting. However, their extinction was not due to a lack of intelligence or adaptability. In fact, recent studies indicate that they were highly intelligent animals with strong problem﹣solving abilities.
The ongoing research into woolly mammoths is part of a broader effort to understand the ecology and behavior of extinct species. "We are on the brink of uncovering the true nature of these magnificent creatures," said Dr.Elena Ivanova,a leading paleontologist. 11.(2025 云安区模拟) Have you ever joyously stepped out to your backyard garden, freshly brewed coffee in hand, only to find your cared﹣for plants and herbs wilted (枯萎的) and dying? Was the soil too dry?Did pests find their way in?During times like these, some frustrated gardeners may wish their fickle ficus(榕树) would just tell them what it needs.A new Microsoft﹣partnered project in the UK is trying to see if that concept can be demonstrated in the real﹣world.
Next year, the Royal Horticultural Society in England will show off an"intelligent garden" that uses an AI model to monitor the garden's environment and inform gardeners when it needs care.Visitors can ask the AI﹣powered garden questions. The model could then respond with phrases like"I need a bit more water," or"I could use a haircut" depending on data captured in the soil.
The technical components of the garden are the product of a partnership between AI start﹣up Avande and Microsoft. The garden relies on a network of sensors nestled throughout the garden measuring environmental factors like soil moisture, alkalinity (碱度),and nutrient levels as well as wind and projected rainfall. All of that data is then sent to a specially designed AI model at the back of the garden. The model, powered by Microsoft's Azure Open AI Service, can then analyze those factors and inform gardeners on best feeding, watering,or trimming.
In theory, insights provided by models like this one could help gardeners allocate resources efficiently and avoid over﹣watering plants before rainfall, both of which can aid in sustainability efforts. Those tools could be a welcome convenience for casual growers or businesses looking to reduce costs. It's unclear, however, whether even the best models can account for something abnormal and individual plant tendencies with the same level of care as experienced gardeners.
Several currently available apps also use AI to help gardeners identify unknown plants by comparing a photo of them against a large online database. But as past reporting has shown, simply trusting an AI to tell you whether a plant or fungi of unknown origin is safe to eat isn't wise, and could have dangerous results.

12.(2025 安阳一模) Think about the illegal screen (掩护) that was called against UConn in the last seconds of the NCAA women's semifinal game. But remember to approach it without an unreasonable dislike of or preference for the team, gender considerations,or the overall skill level of the players involved.American basketball fans have come to believe that at the end of close games,we should "let the players decide the outcome".
Do the referees (裁判) actually stop themselves from blowing their whistles at the end of close games,or is it all just a misconception? While I would like to believe that it is a misconception, during my 31 years of coaching high school basketball,I have met quite a few game officials who practice that philosophy. To "let the players decide the outcome" means that the game won't be called as strictly as it is during other parts of the match. Is that really what we want?I have a very close knowledge of NFHS basketball rules, and have read NCAA basketball regulations. But I have never seen any reference to calling the game differently in the closing seconds of a tight contest.Oftentimes, the game ends with the result that would happen no matter what. But if not,who gets punished? Most often,it's the team that continues to play within the rules.
We need to abandon the belief that we should"let the players decide the outcome" A foul (犯规) should be recognized as a foul no matter what time in the game it occurs—the first minute, the middle of the third quarter,or the final 10 seconds of a close game. But again,it's up to the referees to make sure that happens.
Officials are human, and they sometimes miss a call, such as a close contact that could be interpreted as a block or a charge. We have to remove the idea that what is a foul committed in the third quarter is not a foul in the last 10 seconds of a close game. And we coaches and spectators have to accept and expect that!
(1)Why is the scene in a basketball game described in paragraph 1?
A.To lead in the topic.
B.To add background information.
C.To honor the competitive players.
D.To stress the importance of referees.
(2)What is the common misconception among basketball fans?
A.Referees have preferences for certain teams.
B.Referees stop using their whistles in close games.

15.(2025 贵阳模拟) Heating and lighting buildings consume a significant portion of global energy—about 18%,according to the International Energy Agency. Many buildings have outdated HVAC systems(空调通风系统) that respond slowly to weather changes, leading to energy waste. However,AI is seen as a potential solution. While AI itself can be energy﹣intensive—Microsoft has acknowledged that its AI development threatens climate goals—experts believe AI can improve energy efficiency in large buildings.A 2024 study suggests that AI could reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions in buildings by at least 8%,and initial efforts to integrate AIinto HVAC systems have been promising.
Sam Ramadori,CEO of BrainBox Al,explains that large buildings often have thousands of HVAC components that need to work together efficiently. His company's technology uses predictive Al to send instructions every five minutes to various parts of the system, optimizing energy use and comfort. For example, the AI system at 45 Broadway begins warming the building in prediction of a cold front, and it adjusts heat distribution based on sunlight exposure.
Researchers at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory have also explored AI's potential in building efficiency.Their study suggests that integrating AI with HVAC systems could reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions by 8% to 19%,or even more with active policy measures.AI can help minimize a building's carbon footprint throughout its lifecycle, from design to maintenance,by predicting equipment failures and reducing downtime (停工期).
Other initiatives have shown similar benefits. In Stockholm,AI tools were applied in 87 HVAC systems in educational facilities, resulting in an annual reduction of 64 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent(等量) and an 8% decrease in electricity usage. The University of Maryland's Center for Environmental Energy Engineering also supports the idea that AI can significantly reduce power consumption in complex HVAC systems, especially those with both indoor and outdoor units.
As the globe warms, efficient cooling systems will be increasingly important.Arash Zarmehr,a building performance consultant at the engineering firm WSP,says that"All engineers are aware that human controls on HVAC systems reduce efficiencies,"he says."AIcan help us move toward the actual decarbonization of buildings."

17.(2025 天河区模拟) The dappled stars and swirling clouds (漩涡云) in The Starry Night are thought to reflect the artist's troubled state of mind when he painted it in 1889.Now,a new study suggests Vincent van Gogh had a deep understanding of how turbulent flow (湍流)moves.
Turbulent flow occurs in fluids like ocean currents and storm clouds, where big swirls break into smaller ones."These swirls aren't random. They arrange themselves in specific patterns that can be predicted by physical laws,"explained Yongxiang Huang, lead author of the study.
Huang and his colleagues examined 14 main whirling shapes in a digital version of the painting. The atmospheric motion in the painted sky cannot be directly measured,so they measured the size of brushstrokes and the brightness of varying paint colors. They discovered that the 14 big swirls match a physical law called Kolmogorov's theory of turbulence. The smallest paint mixes also follow a pattern known as Batchelor's scaling.
Finding both laws in one painting is rare, and it is such an amazing coincidence (巧合).Van Gogh would not have been aware it was physics, but likely he spent a lot of time observing turbulence in nature."It must be planted into his mind so that he could make this famous painting so convincing,"Huang said.
The team performed a similar analysis and detected the same phenomenon in another painting,Chain Pier,Brighton by John Constable in 1826.While it doesn't have clear swirls, its clouds show rich structures like those seen in the sky.
Scientists have long struggled to fully understand turbulent flow, which is important for weather forecasting, flight turbulence and many other processes.Even after over 100 years of study, defining this complex natural phenomenon is still challenging.Huang also noted that artworks like The Starry Night matching turbulence models might mean the statistical methods and tools are less precise than thought.
(1)What is the main focus of the new study?
A.Van Gogh's troubled mental state.
B.The artist's hidden talent for science.
C.The display of swirls in the painting.
D.The artistic value of the painting.
(2)Which is a way researchers analysed the atmospheric motion in The Starry Night?
A.Predicting the physical laws in the sky.
B.Comparing the swirls with their digital versions.
C.Measuring the movement of brushstrokes.
D.Examining the variations of paint colors.
(3)What probably made Van Gogh's The Starry Night so vivid?
A.Awareness of capturing beauty.
B.Insightful observations of nature.
C.Complicated painting techniques.
D.Scientific understanding of turbulence.
(4)Why did the researchers study Chain Pier,Brighton?
A.To check their previous study result.
B.To show they take the study seriously.
C.To provide background information for the research.
D.To confirm clear swirls are unique to Van Gogh's works.

More than 1,100 people aged over 40,with an average age of 68,were studied.Scientists observed their brain function data, looking at the effects of playing an instrument, singing, reading and listening to music.
The researchers compared the cognitive(认知的) data of those in the study who engaged in music in some way in their lives, with those who never had.Their results showed that people who played musical instruments benefited the most, which may be because of the "multiple cognitive demands"of the activity.
"Playing the piano or keyboard appeared to be particularly beneficial.Simply listening to music did not appear to help cognitive health. The benefit seen with singing might be partly because of the known social aspects of being in a choir or group,"the researchers say.
"Because we have such sensitive brain tests for this study,we are able to look at individual aspects of the brain function, such as short﹣term memory, long﹣term memory and problem﹣solving,"lead author Anne Corbett said.
"Playing an instrument has a particularly big effect, and people who continue to play into an older age saw an additional benefit,"she said."Our brain is a muscle like anything else and it needs to be exercised, and learning to read music is a bit like learning a new language."In the study, people who read music regularly had better numerical memory.
"The message is around how people can proactively reduce their risk of cognitive decline or dementia(痴呆),and really thinking about engaging with music as a way of doing that,"Anne said. However, she added,"It would be naive to think taking up a musical instrument would mean you won't develop dementia."
(1)What does the research say about music?
A.It takes constant practice.
B.It does old people's brains a favor.
C.It improves long﹣term memory.
D.It sharpens the language ability.
(2)How is the research carried out?

C.By making comparison.
D.By exercising the brain.
(3)Which best describes playing musical instruments?
A.Cognitively demanding.
B.Mentally pleasing.
C.Physically challenging.
D.Emotionally disturbing.
(4)Which word can replace the underlined word "naive"in the last paragraph?
A.wise

20.(2025 安阳一模) What is happiness?Gopnik's new book All That Happiness Is provides an answer. It suggests that happiness is the pursuit of something meaningful.
What that pursuit requires, and how we know if we might have arrived at the desired destination are the meat of the book, with Gopnik sharing a personal moment of great happiness, when he locked himself in his teenage bedroom with a guitar and pursued the knowledge of a handful of rock 'n' roll from the Beatles songbook.
Gopnik declares that 50 years on he is "not much better" at the guitar than he was at the end of that first week. However, the period of self﹣study, during which he discovered some measure of the Beatles' magic for himself, became the foundation of almost every accomplishment in his life since.
Gopnik draws a distinction between "accomplishment" and "achievement",stating that accomplishment is rooted in an internal sense of having done something interesting and worthwhile, while achievement is rooted in external reward, having fulfilled the demands coming from an outside force.
I can't help but think that today's schools focus more on achievement than on accomplishment, which obviously does harm to our pursuit of happiness.Students must consistently achieve without the accompanying satisfaction of accomplishment.
All That Happiness Is calls for respecting the necessity and benefits of experiencing a sense of accomplishment.Once that sense is achieved, the work required for external achievements comes more naturally.
Ultimately,to be happy, you have to center on what truly fulfills you.I can prove it.Even after a dozen years,I still get a kick out of the choice of writing a column in my hometown newspaper, from which I gained a sense of achievement.
It took me maybe 20 minutes to read All That Happiness Is,not much of an achievement;but the full worth of a book isn't in how long it took to read it,but in how long it continues to exist in our lives. In this case,Gopnik has accomplished much.
(1)What does Gopnik's experience of learning the guitar mean to him?
A.It has given him a taste for the guitar.
B.It has guided him to do something meaningful.
C.It has helped him make a lifelong career.
D.It has taught him to learn all by himself.
(2)How does achievement differ from accomplishment according to Gopnik?
A.Accomplishment comes from inside.
B.Accomplishment is easy to get.
C.Achievement has greater influence than accomplishment.
D.Achievement brings people more joy than accomplishment.
(3)What is the author's attitude toward today's schools?
A.Unclear.
B.Uncaring.
C.Supportive.
D.Disapproving.
(4)What does the underlined part "get a kick out of" in paragraph 7 mean?
A.Feel regretful for.
B.Gain pleasure from.
C.Get attracted by.
D.Become nervous about.

A.Make a detailed category.
B.Investigate the sugar market.
C.Check the existing evidence.
D.Monitor products containing sugar.
(2)What can be inferred from Dr.Maya Adam's words in paragraph 5? D
A.Whole grains are more nutritious.
B.Whole food carbohydrates don't break.
C.The rise of blood sugar is a long process.
D.Simple sugars raise blood sugar rapidly.
(3)What does the underlined word"circumscribe"in paragraph 6 mean? A
A.Limit.
B.Increase.
C.Ignore.
D.Promote.
(4)What is the author's attitude to the consumption of added sugar? D
A.Supportive.
B.Critical.
C.Doubtful.
D.Cautious.

【分析】本文是一篇说明文。文章主要讲述了一项研究:摄入太多糖分对健康的危害。
【解答】(1)细节理解题。根据第二段Still,researchers in China and the United States felt that before developing detailed policies for sugar restriction, the quality of existing evidence needs to be comprehensively evaluated, according to a study published in the journal The BMJ.(不过,根据发表在《英国医学杂志》上的一项研究,中国和美国的研究人员认为,在制定详细的限糖政策之前,需要对现有证据的质量进行全面评估)可知,在制定详细的限糖政策前,需要综合评估现有证据的质量。故选C。
(2)推理判断题。根据第五段"Whole food carbohydrates (碳水化合物) take longer to break down into simple sugars," said Dr.Maya Adam,a professor at Stanford University School of Medicine. "This means that whole grains don't cause the same increases in blood sugar that we experience when we eat simple sugars.Blood sugar increases are the basic cause of health problems in the long run."("全食物碳水化合物需要更长的时间才能分解成单糖,"斯坦福大学医学院教授玛雅 亚当博士说。"这意味着全谷物不会像我们吃单糖那样导致血糖升高。从长远来看,血糖升高是健康问题的根本原因。")可知,全谷物碳水化合物分解成单糖的时间更长,因此全谷物不会像我们食用单糖时那样引起相同程度的血糖升高。由此推测出,单糖会使血糖快速升高。故选D。
(3)词句猜测题。根据第一段Past research has shown the negative effects of too much sugar intake on health, which has informed recommendations to limit consumption of "free" or added sugar to less than 10% of a person's daily caloric intake.(过去的研究表明,摄入过多的糖会对健康产生负面影响,因此建议将'游离'糖或添加糖的摄入量限制在每日卡路里摄入量的10%以下)提到过多糖摄入对健康有负面影响,建议将"游离"或添加糖的摄入量限制在每日热量摄入的10%以下。 A.Limit限制;B.Increase增加;C.Ignore忽视;D.Promote提升。故选A。
(4)观点态度题。根据最后一段All in all,we should cut back on our consumption of added sugar to less than 10% of a person's daily caloric intake. After all, eating too much "free sugar" has many negative health effects.(总而言之,我们应该将添加糖的摄入量减少到每日热量摄入的10%以下。毕竟,吃太多的"游离糖"对健康有很多负面影响)以及文章强调了过量摄入糖分对健康的负面影响并建议限制摄入量可知,作者对添加糖的摄入持谨慎态度。故选D。

(1)What is the main focus of Weiwei Li's study? C
A.The light sensors of different animals.
B.The effect of natural light on fish behavior.
C.The impact of artificial light on fish health.
D.The relationship between fish and their offspring.
(2)Why were zebrafish chosen for this study? D
A.They are easy to find.
B.They prefer artificial light.
C.They adapt to artificial tanks.
D.They are sensitive to light.
(3)What might be Weiwei Li's suggestion? D
A.Adopting short﹣wave light.
B.Stopping lighting at night.
C.Putting the fish back in nature.
D.Minimizing artificial light.
(4)What can be the best title for the text? B
A.Zebrafish's Living Habits
B.Light Pollution Makes Fish Anxious
C.The Role of Light Sensors in Zebrafish
D.Fish Adapt to Artificial Blue Light Quickly
