Unit 7 Seasons
第一课时
教学目标
1．知识与技能
（1）能够听懂、会说、认读有关季节与天气的单词：spring, warm, summer, hot.
（2）能够运用句型“Spring / Summer is …”简单描述各个季节的特征。
2．过程与方法
（1）能够根据图片，在语境中听懂他人对季节的简单描述，理解不同季节的气候特点。
（2）在学习的过程中，敢于开口，不怕出错误，逐渐获得表达英语的方法。
3．情感、态度与价值观
（1）在本单元学习的过程中，能够逐步养成热爱大自然，热爱生活的良好情趣。
教学重点
1．句型：Spring / Summer is …
2．词汇：spring, warm, summer, hot.
教学难点
1．spring的发音。
2．学生对重点句型的应用。
教学用具
1．教师准备与本课时相关的图片、课件、音频、视频与一把扇子。
2．每个学生准备一壶温开水。
教学过程
Step 1:warm-up
1．Greeting.师生用英语互相问候。
2．Sing a song “What colour is it ”（唱一首歌，用来调动课堂气氛与复习有关颜色的词汇。）
Red, yellow, blue, pink.

What colour is it
Blue, blue, it’s blue.
Blue, blue, it’s blue.
Step 2:Presentation
1．Look and talk.（看图片，师生谈论图片内容。）
教师出示有关四季的图片，请学生观察图画，教师提问，学生回答。
T：Look, what colour is it
　 Ss：It’s …… ( green, red, yellow, white)
2．Make a summary.（教师引导学生总结图片内容。）
T：You did a good job. What can you learn from the pictures （引导学生说出四季。）
There are 4 seasons in a year.
Spring is green.
Summer is red.
Autumn is yellow.
Winter is white.
3．More about the seasons.（更多季节特征。）
（1）Drink some water.（喝温水，引出温暖warm）
T：OK! Now I’m thirsty. I want to drink some water. Do you want some water （教师与学生一起喝温水，然后询问水温怎么样？）
Ss：…
T：Yes, it’s warm. Spring is warm, too. （温水是暖和的，春天也是暖和/温暖的。）Spring is warm.
（2）Summer.
T：Spring is warm. What about summer （教师一边表现出很热的样子，一边摇扇子。） Summer is hot.
4．Read the words with the teacher.（教师读单词，学生跟读，教师注意语速，不要太快。）
5．Read and check.（学生两遍英语两遍中文地朗读单词，教师了解学生的掌握情况，针对学生不熟悉的词汇加以巩固。）
Step 3:Practice
1．Look and say.（看图片，说单词）
2．Let’s play.（一个学生说季节，其他学生说季节特征）
S1：Spring is …
Ss：Warm! / Green …
3．Look and describe the pictures.
E.g. Spring is…
4．Make a summary.(Watch the video.)
T: What did we learn this class
教师和学生一起总结本课时的教学重点，先由学生谈谈自己学了什么，教师再进行总结，最后让学生观看视频，进行巩固。
Step4: Homework
1．听录音，熟读课本 P30 、P31的内容。
2．画画：亲爱的小朋友，你最喜欢哪个季节？春天？夏天？秋天？还是冬天？聪明的你快把它画下来，并给它涂上美丽的颜色。
第二课时
教学目标
1．知识与技能
（1）能够使用句型描述不同季节发生的事情：In spring, I see flowers. I smell flowers. / In summer, it’s hot. I drink some juice.
（2）能够学唱P33歌谣，并给歌谣取名。
2．过程与方法
（1）能在实际情景或媒体情景中，对季节的特征进行简单描述，掌握描述季节特征的方法。
（2）在学习的过程中，敢于开口，不怕出错误，逐渐获得表达英语的方法。
3．情感、态度与价值观
（1）在本单元学习的过程中，能够逐步养成热爱大自然，热爱生活的良好情趣。
教学重点
1．句型：In spring, I see flowers. I smell flowers. / In summer, it’s hot. I drink some juice.
2．词汇：autumn, winter, cool, cold.
教学难点
1．autumn的发音。
2．歌谣内容比较丰富，需要巧妙处理，合理安排时间。

教师准备与本课时相关的图片、课件、音频与视频。
教学过程
Step 1:warm-up
1．Greeting.师生用英语互相问候。
2．Sing a song on P23 “I like ice cream”.（唱P23的歌曲，一方面调动课堂气氛，另一方面，复习句型I like…）
3．Review the words.（看图片，读单词，解决四个词汇autumn, winter, cool, cold.）
Step 2:Presentation
1．Look, ask and answer.（看图片，师生就图片内容进行问答，呈现课文中的句型。）
T：What do you see in spring
Ss：In spring, I see flowers. I smell flowers. I like spring.
T：What do you see in summer
Ss：In summer, I see red. It’s hot. I drink some juice.
2．Watch the video “outside”and then read.（观看视频，然后模仿跟读。）
3．Read the text.（教师引导学生带着“欣赏大自然美景”的感情朗读课文。）
Step 3:Practice
1．Read and act.（表演文章内容。）
2．Let’s enjoy.（唱P33歌谣）
（1）Read the chant.（朗读歌谣内容。）
Spring is warm.
Summer is hot.
Autumn is cool.
Winter is cold.
Spring, summer, autumn and winter.
Warm, hot, cool and cold.
（2）Watch the video.（观看歌谣的视频两遍。）
（3）Try to chant.（尝试唱歌谣，教师引导学生一边拍手，一边唱歌谣。）
3．Chant together.（分组合表演歌谣。）
4．Make a summary.

教师和学生一起总结本课时的教学重点，先由学生谈谈自己学了什么，教师再进行总结。
Step4: Homework
1．听录音，跟唱P33歌谣。
2．把歌谣唱给你的家人们听。
