A dog’s coat is a big sign that tells you whether the dog is taken good care of or not. To make sure your dog
has a pretty and shiny (有光泽的) coat, you should follow our advice:
___34___
All dogs like to play around in grass or dirt, so they all get dirty every now and then. This is why they require
regular bathing. If you don’t do this, their hairs will get tangled (缠住的), which might cause some health problems.
___35___
If you add eggs to your dog’s diets, your dog’s coat will be very shiny and smooth. This is especially true for
black dogs. But remember to cook the eggs because raw (生的) egg whites may cause illnesses.
___36___
Bacterial infections (细菌感染) may appear on dogs’ hairs easily. So long-haired dogs must have their hair cut
regularly. If you can’t afford regular visits to the pet shop, you can cut your dog’s hairs at home. It’s easy.
___37___
This is especially important if your dog has a double coat. Usually longer-coated dogs require more frequent
(频繁的) brushing than shorter-coated dogs.
___38___
If your dog gets wet, be sure to dry their hairs as soon as possible. Leaving them wet for a long time may
cause some infections. Even though dogs usually shake off most of the water drops, the still wet coat is a perfect
environment for bacteria to grow.
A. Wash your dog regularly.
B. Keep your dog’s hairs dry.
C. Eggs make the coat shiny.
D. Give regular trims (修剪) to your dog.
E. Don’t forget to brush your dog’s hairs.

Asking for help is truly life-saving wisdom that can lead to personal growth and success.
Last summer. I joined a rural-urban exchange program. Together with my new friends from both the city and
the countryside, we had to build a small community garden. However, we had trouble choosing the right plants for
the local weather and soil. We had no experience in gardening.so we decided to ask the local farmers for advice.
They kindly explained which plants would grow well taught us how to prepare the soil, and even gave us some of
their own seeds. With their help, our garden project became a great success. This experience taught me that asking
for help brings people together and turns challenges into learning chances.
Asking for help is not a sign of weakness but a sign of wisdom and self-awareness. By doing this, we show
courage by recognizing when we need support and show our desire to solve problems.
