discount")。
示例:题干问 "What time does the museum close on weekends "→ 快速扫描原文找到
"Weekends: 10 AM – 6 PM"。
绝对词必错(如“all”“never”);
无中生有删(原文未提及的选项);
Limited time offer!”
邮件类:inquiry, complaint, follow-up。
If you book in advance, you will get
a 20% discount and a free guidebook.")。

Emailing people, especially those we’ve never met before, can feel like a challenge. How
do you address them Should you get to the point immediately This guide will help you feel
confident about emailing.
Think about who you’re emailing. Is he or she a friend, a teacher, or someone new That
will change how you address that person. For friends, “Hi ________” or “Hello ________” is
enough. For teachers, it depends on how well you know them. If you’re unfamiliar with the
teacher, it’s always good to be polite. Use “Dear Mrs. ________” or “Hello Mr. ________.” For
new contacts, “Dear Mr./Mrs./Ms. ________” is always the best way to open an email.
For the body part, it’s always good to start with, “My name is ________ and I go to
________ (name of your school). I have questions about...” This will help the receiver understand
who you are and why you are writing to him or her.
Keep your email short and clear. Remember to be polite! “Please” and “Thank you” can go
a long way.
Emails are not like WeChat messages! You should properly organize your emails. Start with
a greeting, then write the body, and sign off at the end of your email. Use standard email fonts (字
体) like Arial and Calibri. But Comic Sans MS (a font with rounded letters) may not be taken
seriously. And don’t use too many exclamation points (感叹号).
Read your email before you send it. Make sure you’ve spelled the person’s name correctly
and look for misspelled or missing words. It’s a good idea to add the email address last, just for
fear that you click “send” by accident before you are ready.

“Time Management” training program will be held in our neighborhood. I think it is very
important for us students to learn how to manage our time properly.
B.Dear Mr. Wang,
I was very excited when I heard that a “Time Management” training program will be held in
our neighborhood. I think it is very important for us students to learn how to manage our time

C.Because nothing will happen if we click “send” by mistake.
D.Because we can make sure the letter is short and clear.
4.Where can you probably read the passage
A.In a storybook. B.In a fashion magazine.
C.In a science book. D.In a writing guide.

Where to eat
There are a number of different places to eat in the shopping center.
The Noodle House is small, but very popular. The noodle soup tastes very good, and the fried
noodles with roast pork are delicious. Everything is clean and the staffs are friendly. Prices are
good too, but you may have to wait quite a long time as the restaurant is so busy.
Roma is a new restaurant. It is very smart, but the pizzas here do not taste good. We didn’t eat
our fish as it smelled bad. The waiters looked angry and we thought it was very expensive. This
restaurant has to improve.
The Tokyo Restaurant has been here for many years, and the staffs bow to customers when they
enter and are very kind. The fish is very fresh and most of the food is delicious. The amount of
food you get is quite small, but it always looks nice on the plate.
The Golden Dragon is a large Chinese restaurant. It has a lot of different food. The sweet and sour
pork is excellent, the Beijing Duck is famous, and the winter melon soup is good. Go there for
a really good meal, but expect to pay a lot. Prices are high.
The Come in Coffee Shop is very modern. There are many sorts of coffee and if you like sweet
things, wait until you taste their cakes and cookies! You can also have sandwiches. I enjoyed the
egg sandwiches a lot. They have modern music playing, but it is very noisy, so it is quite
difficult to have a conversation.

________ (name of your school). I have questions about...” This will help the receiver understand
who you are and why you are writing to him or her.
