1.辨析similar与same
(1)similar 是形容词,意为“相像的”,常用结构 be similar to 意为“与……类似”。
如:This painting is similar to that one over there.这幅画和那边的那幅相似。
(2)same 也是形容词,意为“相同的”,常用结构 the same as 意为“与……相同”。
如:My new job is much the same as the old one.我的新工作和旧工作差不多。
2.that/if/whether引导的宾语从句及用法
(1)宾语从句是用一个句子作宾语的从句,通常由连接词来引导,如that,if,whether;
(2)that引导宾语从句时无实意,通常可以省略;
(3)whether 和if引导宾语从句时,意为“是否”,通常可以互换;
(4)宾语从句有三个要素,即:关联词、时态和陈述语序。
