Going to an art museum can be a fun activity. However, if you’re not sure what the art is about, it may
seem boring. Here are many ways to understand different kinds of art.
You don’t need to visit the most famous museum in your area. Instead, have an adult help you look at the

If a piece of art (艺术品) catches your eyes, you may start by getting close to the artwork. Think about the
story the artwork may be trying to tell. Bring a notebook and pencil with you, so you can make a quick drawing
yourself. This way, you might see new details (细节) of it that you didn’t notice before.
If you want to find out more details of the artwork, a volunteer at the museum may be helpful to talk to you
about it. Free brochures (手册) may also provide information. You can also ask yourself what the work means to
you. For example, maybe the colors in the piece remind you of a place that’s special to you or the emotions you’
ve been feeling.

China is making huge efforts to help people manage weight and stay healthy. Since 2024, the government
has carried out a three-year “Weight Management Year” plan against obesity. Obesity can cause serious health
problems like diabetes (糖尿病) and heart disease. Here’s what you should know.
Check your BMI first. For adults, a healthy BMI is 18.5-24. A BMI of 24-28 means you’re overweight, and
28 or more means you’re obese. Also, measure your waist (腰围). Men should keep it under 90 cm, and women
under 85 cm.
Eat well and exercise regularly. Choose healthy food like brown rice, fresh vegetables, and lean proteins.
Avoid fried and sugary food, and less salt and oil.
Do 150-300 minutes of walking, cycling or dancing every week, and strength exercises twice a week. If
you sit for long, stretch for 3-5 minutes every hour.
Small daily habits matter. Teens should sleep for at least 7 hours a night. Eating vegetables first, then meat
and rice helps control eating.
Schools and communities help too. Shanghai schools ensure students exercise at least two hours daily.
Hospitals’ “weight clinics” offer diet and exercise advice, and traditional Chinese methods. By 2030, China aims
to slow obesity growth.

Going to an art museum can be a fun activity. However, if you’re not sure what the art is about, it may
seem boring. Here are many ways to understand different kinds of art.
You don’t need to visit the most famous museum in your area. Instead, have an adult help you look at the
websites of a few local (当地的) museums to see what exhibits (展览) they have. Choose one you’re interested in
to visit. For example, if you enjoy taking photos, you might go to a photography exhibit.
After you leave the museum, consider which pieces of art stay in your mind and why. Talk to a friend who
went with you, and ask them about their favorite pieces, too. The way artists make themselves understood through
their work is the magic of art really.
24.What’s the writer’s advice when choosing a museum
A.Ask your parents to help you decide.
B.Visit the most famous museum nearby.
C.Choose an exhibit that interests you.
25.Why do you need a notebook and pencil according to paragraph 3
A.To draw a similar picture by yourself.
B.To draw a picture of yourself quickly.
C.To write down the story of the artwork.
26.What may be the magic of art really according to the last paragraph
A.The art pieces that stay in your mind for a long time.
B.The way you understand an artist through their work.
C.The story your favorite piece of art is trying to tell.
27.Which of the following best shows the structure of the text (P=Paragraph)
A. B. C.

Losing weight doesn’t need to be perfect. Start with small changes like drinking water instead of soda.
These simple steps can lead to a healthier future.
28.What is the main goal of China’s “Weight Management Year” plan
A.To make traditional Chinese food popular.
B.To encourage people to join sports competitions.
C.To reduce obesity and improve public health.
29.What does the underlined word “Obesity” in Paragraph 1 mean in Chinese
A.过度肥胖 B.过度瘦 C.减肥
30.How long should people do activities like cycling every week
A.3-5 minutes. B.7 hours. C.150-300 minutes.
31.Which of the following statements is TRUE
A.Only big lifestyle changes can help with weight management.
B.Shanghai schools ask students to exercise for at least two hours every day.
C.The “Weight Management Year” plan lasts from 2024 to 2030.
