Although he has not played with his old toys for a long time, he still wanted to keep them. For example, he has owned a train and railway set since his fourth birthday, and he played with it almost every week until he was about seven. And he did not want to lose his toy monkey, either. He slept next to the monkey every night when he was a child. My daughter was more understanding, although she also felt sad to part with certain toys.

no longer相当于not…any longer，是一个表示时间的状语，和延续性动词连用。 通常放在行为动词的前面；和be动词连用时，放在系动词后面；
同义短语：no more=not …any more“不再”，表示动作不再出现，常用来指次数上不再重复，通常与非延续性动词连用。

honest 为形容词, 意为“诚实的; 老实的”。反义词为dishonest “不诚实的”。to be honest意为“说实在的, 说实话”, 等同于honestly。经常单独使用, 作插入语, 用逗号与句子隔开。类似的表达还有to tell the truth “老实说, 说实话”。
