一、重点词汇
1. afraid(adj. 害怕;担心)
意义解释:用来描述人处于恐惧、担忧的心理状态。
例句用法:
I'm afraid of dogs.(我害怕狗)
She is afraid that she will fail the exam.(她担心自己考试不及格)
易错点分析:"be afraid of + 名词 / 代词 / 动名词" ,表示 "害怕某物 / 做某事" ;"be afraid that + 从句" ,表示 "担心……" 。注意不要混淆这两种用法。另外,"I'm afraid..." 还可用于委婉地表达遗憾、抱歉或不同意等,如 "I'm afraid I can't come.(恐怕我来不了)" 。
2. fill(v. 填满;装满;(使) 充满)
意义解释:表示使某个空间或容器完全被东西占据。
例句用法:
Fill the glass with water.(把杯子装满水)
The hall was filled with people.(大厅里挤满了人)
易错点分析:"fill...with..." 是固定搭配,意为 "用……装满……" ;其形容词形式 "full(满的)" ,常见搭配 "be full of(充满)" ,注意区分 "fill" 和 "full" 的词性及用法 ,不要错用。
3. be good for(对……有利;适于)

一般现在时(Simple present tense)
1. 用法
经常性、习惯性动作或状态(常与 always、usually 等频度副词连用)。
They usually go to the park on Sundays.
表示主语具备的性格和能力。
They are good at math.
2. 句式
(1)谓语动词是 be(am、is、are)
肯定句:主语 + be
She is a teacher.
疑问句:Be + 主语
——Is he your brother
——Yes, he is. / No, he isn't.
否定句:主语 + be+not
They aren't from Japan.
注意:一般疑问句将 be 放句首,肯定答语 "Yes, 主语 + be",否定答语 "No, 主语 + be+not"
(2)谓语动词是实义动词
肯定句:主语 + 动词原形
We study English at school.
否定句:主语 + do/does +not + 动词原形
They don't play video games.
疑问句:Do/Does + 主语 + 动词原形
——Do they watch TV in the evening
——Yes, they do. / No, they don't.
注意:否定句在实义动词前加 do/does +not ;一般疑问句句首加 Do/Does,肯定答语 "Yes, 主语 + do/does" ,否定答语 "No, 主语 + do/does +not"
3. 谓语动词变化(主语为第三人称单数时)
一般情况动词词尾加 -s(清辅音后读 /s/,浊辅音或元音后读 /z/)
以 s、x、ch、sh 结尾加 -es(读 / z/ ,词尾有 e 加 -s);以 o 结尾加 -es(读 /z/)
以辅音字母加 y 结尾,变 y 为 i 加 -es(读 /z/)
