1教学目标
Using the modal verb can to express abilities.
e.g. I can read.
Asking wh-questions to find out information about a person’s ability.
e.g. What can you do?
Can talk with others with the new sentence.
Can understand the meaning of the new sentences.
2学情分析
一年级的小朋友注重培养学习兴趣,提高学生学习英语的好习惯,注重落实学生对英语实际综合运用能力的提高。但他们的注意力只有15分钟左右,同时他们都很爱表现自己,在英语课堂中多表扬和鼓励他们,让他们更有兴趣参与到课堂中,使他们更有自信心去学习英语。针对以上情况,要多关注全体学生,营造活跃的英语课堂氛围,激起待进步学生的兴趣入手,多关心、耐心引导学生。

活动1【导入】Step 1: Warm-up.

活动2【导入】Step 2: Revision.
1.Review the words and the sentences.
(1)Look and say: sing/dance/read/draw.

活动3【讲授】Step 3: Presentation
1.English Festival is coming soon. Then ask “What can you do?” Prompt the student to answer with actions. Repeat the question for several times.
2. Ask the students to talk in pairs.

3. Let’s guess:Have the students ask and answer in succession according to the picture.
4. Have the students do survey. Ask four students to come to the front of the classroom. Have one of them face the class and the others face the blackboard.
Eg:S1:(to S2,S3,S4) What can you do?
