In Africa, on the border(边界) of Zimbabwe and Zambia, sits the world's largest waterfall,Victoria Falls. It is the only waterfall in the world with a length of more than a kilometer and a height of more than a hundred meters.
The water of the waterfall comes from the Zambezi River. The Zambezi River is the fourth largest river in Africa, running over 1, 600 miles from its source （源头） to the sea. During the rainy season, from November to April,300,000 gallons(加仑) of water pour over the falls every second. There is so much water and mist （薄雾） that it's hard to see the falls. The river and the falls can be very dangerous during this season.
