I
was
having
lunch
in
the
canteen
when
the
headmaster
came
and
sat
beside
me.
I
was
so
nervous.
The
headmaster
asked
me
some
questions
about
my
school
life.
When
I
answered,
my
voice
didn’t
sound
like
my
voice,
it
was
so
shaky.
I
ate
the
food
slowly.
It
seemed
to
be
years
after
I
finished
my
lunch.
Then
I
went
away
and
said
goodbye
to
the
headmaster.
When
I
saw
one
of
my
classmates
walking
by,
I
shouted
it
out
loud,
“I
had
lunch
with
our
headmaster
just
now!”
My
childhood
memory
The
memory
of
waiting
for
the
popcorn
is
just
as
sweet
as
that
yummy
snack.
I
used
to
charge
at
the
north
of
the
village
with
my
friends
when
the
Spring
Festival
arrived.
There
was
a
small
and
rusty
machine,
always
making
popcorns
with
a
booming
noise.
Children
including
me
gathered
around
it
and
I
could
feel
my
mouth
was
watering.
The
smell
of
popcorns
even
made
my
stomach
roar
loud!
When
the
popcorns
were
ready,
all
of
us
can’t
wait
to
devour
it.
One
Thing
I’m
Proud
of
More
than
anything
else
in
the
world,
I’m
pretty
proud
of
my
basketball
skills.
But
a
girl
who
takes
great
interest
in
basketball
seems
not
normal
for
the
boys.
When
I
stood
by
the
court,
hoping
to
play
with
the
boys,
one
of
them
yelled,
“Get
away,
girl!
You’ll
be
in
trouble!”
With
anger
full
of
chest,
I
joined
in
them
confidently.
As
the
whistle
blew,
all
the
players
were
like
tigers,
running
fast
and
roaring
loudly.
Disappointedly,
no
one
passed
the
ball
to
me.
It
made
me
more
eager
to
prove
myself.
When
the
ball
finally
flew
towards
me,
I
caught
it
tightly.
Like
a
sleeping
lion
that
has
been
woken
up,
I
came
to
life
quickly.
I
ran
across
the
court,
like
a
tornado
destroying
the
playground.
All
the
boys
were
shocked
and,
as
I
achieved
a
goal,
they
boomed
an
applause.
The
basketball
gives
me
a
sense
of
achievement
and
makes
me
confident.
Just
as
in
the
basketball
match,
people
tried
to
knock
me
down,
but
I
bounced
right
back
up!
