教学目标 1. 在看、听、说的活动中,获取和梳理有关四季的核心短语:go on a picnic; go swimming; pick apples; make a snowman; 及谈论最喜欢的季节以及对应的季节活动核心句型:Which season do you like best I like ... best. I often... (学习理解) 2. 在教师的引导下,能够针对西安四季的: 颜色,天气,景色以及活动进行讨论,并表达自己的看法; (应用实践) 3. 在小组内进行真实语境的创设,对各自喜欢的季节进行交流探讨,并结合西安特色景点,对所喜欢的季节进行诗歌描写,体验季节活动的丰富多彩。(迁移创新)
教学重点 1. 能够在语境、图片的帮助下,理解四个短语: go on a picnic; go swimming; pick apples; make a snowman; 2. 能够熟练运用所学句型,表达每个季节的颜色,天气,景色,以及经常进行的活动; 3. 能够感知不同的季节中所进行的活动的乐趣,从而感知四季之美; 4. 能够对自己所喜欢的季节进行简短诗歌的描写,与小组成员合作完成西安四季的诗歌。
教学难点 1. 学生能够理解: There are beautiful flowers everywhere.并运用该句型对其他季节的景色进行描述; 2. 能够在教师的引导下,通过对季节的四个维度探讨,深入感知西安的四季之美,加深:Every season brings its joy. Enjoy each season. Enjoy your life; 3. 学生能够熟练运用所学句型,所积累的词汇,表达自己所喜爱的季节以及原因。

Step I Greetings & Lead in a. Teacher and students make greetings to each other. b. Lead out the title of this class. And review the four seasons. c. Play the video: the four seasons of the City Wall in Xi’an. d. Free talk to lead out the key sentence structure: -- Which season do you like best -- I like ... best. e. Q: How to record the beauty of Xi’an Lead out the situation: Enjoy photos of the four seasons in Xi’an. Step II Presentation a. PPT presents Wu Binbin’s photo, and T should lead ss talk about the following questions: Where: Xi’an Expo Park. Which season is it What’s the weather like in spring What does he do here (Encourage ss to guess: Maybe he goes for a walk; flies a kite...) b. PPT presents the picture of “go on a picnic” to learn the new phrase. c. T leads ss think any other places to go on a picnic in Xi’an. And talk about what we should pay attention to on a picnic. d. Discuss any other activities in the spring of Xi’an. e. The last activity in spring is that: enjoy flowers. T should ask ss: What can you see in spring And lead ss get to know the meaning of: There are flowers everywhere in spring. f. Watch the video about the places in Xi’an to enjoy flowers. g. The same way to present the new phrases: John: summer Where: Xi’an Olympic Sports Center Weather: hot and sunny; Scenery: green trees Activity: go swimming; Chen Jie: autumn Where: Cui Hua Mountain Weather: cool and windy; Scenery: golden leaves Activity: pick apples; Mike: winter Where: Wild Goose Pogoda Weather: cold and snowy; Scenery: white snow Activity: make a snowman Step III Practice a. PPT presents all the photos of the four seasons in Xi’an to let students perceive that: Each season brings its joy. b. T: Our friends not only took pictures of the four seasons in Xi’an. They also write a poem. Here is the poem of Wu Binbin. Let’s enjoy it.(Plays the tape of reading the poem.) T: Can you try to read it Pay attention to your emotion and rhythm. SS read the poem of Wu Binbin together. c. Try to fill in the blanks of the other three students’ poem. d. Enjoy the poem of teacher. T should read it with emotion and rhythm. After reading, T: So, my favourite season is autumn. How about you Which season do you like best Why T should ask a students to make the dialogue. Step IV Production a. T: Different people like different season in Xi’an. I prepared some pictures of the four seasons in Xi’an. Please work in four to talk about your favourite season. After discussing, write your season poem. And show in groups. b. SS work in four to finish their group season poems. c. Group work show. d. T can lead ss perceive the beauty of every season in order to know that: Every season has its own beauty. Bring its own joy. Enjoy each season and enjoy your life. e. Homework. 通过复习四季词汇,引出西安城墙的四季视频,从而奠定本节课的主线:欣赏西安的四季之美。 师生自由问答,引出本节课关键句型:Which season do you like best I like... best. 继而通过如何记录自己最喜欢季节的美,这一问题,引出本节课的大情境:欣赏课本中四个人物拍摄的关于西安四季照片。 通过逐一展示课本四个人物的照片,讲授四个季节所对应的四个动词短语,在新手过程中,通过问答,讨论四季的:weather; scenery; activity。为后续生成四季诗歌,做充足的铺垫。 在呈现课本中的四个动词短语之后,鼓励学生思考该季节其他的活动,在思考交流过程中,加深:Enjoy activities in each season.并且加深对西安四季的特色的认知。 通过设置“诗歌赏析”,复习、操练新授的内容,对每一个人物所喜爱的季节中对应的:颜色、天气、景色、活动,进行句型练习描述,加强语言输出。 通过背景音乐与诗歌的结合,让学生深刻领悟:More ways to record the beauty of seasons. 通过欣赏教师的季节诗歌,引到学生身上,进行分组讨论,并合作完成所选的西安景点的四季诗歌。 通过合作完成西安四季诗歌,并进行展示,加深学生对西安四季的认知与感情。 教师观察学生,能否清晰了解本节课的人物:感受西安的四季之美。 通过对照片信息的询问,观察学生能否灵活运用重点句型去询问并表达自己的观点。 由于诗歌文本稍微长一些,教师应观察学生是否能够结合文本内容框架,理解诗歌内容。 教师应在小组合作过程中,观察学生是否先用目标语言进行探讨,继而再进行书写。 结合学生展示的诗歌,进行补充。
